Hawaii to Ariz.: Prove need to verify Obama birth
PHOENIX (AP) - The attorney general's office in Hawaii is telling Arizona's secretary of state that if he wants confirmation of President Barack Obama's birth records, he'll have to prove he legitimately needs it.
Special Assistant Joshua Wisch said late Friday that Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett hasn't done that despite numerous email and phone exchanges between their offices.
Wisch says Hawaii state laws require Bennett to show legal authority that this office needs the records to update its official lists as part of its ordinary work.
Wisch says as soon as Bennett gives Hawaii adequate authority, the Aloha State will verify Obama's birth.
Bennett said in a radio interview this week that Obama's status on Arizona's ballot is in question unless Hawaii verifies his birthplace.
Hawaii officials have confirmed multiple times that Obama was born there.

No, they haven’t. They have said various things but never a certified statement of proof of any kind. Besides, if they are willing to provide some kind of sworn statement then they should be able to provide the birth certificate itself.

Many people have "confirmed" that Obama was born in Hawaii, but NONE have produced tangible evidence or original documentation that can be independently verified.
The public deserves better than this IMO, especially because there are so many contrary statements and claims, including by Obama himself.
Will the AZ-SOS use the “court admissible” evidence of the CCP in Maricopa (a legally constituted investigative body of the State of AZ), or do they just forward Obamugabe’s self-created CV from various evidentiary examples of Obaqmugabe’s own words stating he was born in Kenya?

They are unwilling to provide even a sworn statement because perjury is generally five years in prison, and judges really don't like witnesses telling them lies.

The obamanoid kneepad fool who wrote the article should look at Hawaii's confirmation that Sun Yat Sen was born there, since he was born in China yet holds a 'valid' HI birth cert. There isn't any statement from Hawaiian officials that should be believed.

To date Hawaii has never provided proof that Obama was born there - all we have are the verbal statements of various officials.
Does anyone remember how the statements from an in coming official, the governor I think, changed from I have seen it to I have been told that its there?
As for an official reason let me suggest this - tell the Arizona Democratic Committee that they must provide the proof in the form of a certified copy (”a true and actual copy of”) of the official birth certificate in the format of the era. Failure to do so will prevent Obama from being listed on the Arizona ballot IAW the state regulations/laws. And no, a letter from the Democratic national Committee like the ones submitted in 2008 will not be sufficient.
Let the Democrats deal with the democrats.
The people in Hawaii know the SoS in Arizona has laid a trap. If they say they have it, maybe Sheriff Arapaio will then start trying to get whatever long form BC they have.
If Obama created his own BC what comes from Hawaii won’t match what Obama put up.

No they haven't. Zippy doesn't have any BC. Every American voter has a legitimate reason to see his birth certificate and Hawaii officials (as well as DOJ) know they never have to accept any reason to tell anyone the truth, that the skid mark in the WH is not an American. Voters need to quit pretending he may have one.
FWIW, I visited the AZ Election Laws online and found them to be close to an incomprehensible mess. I assume there is a section there that allows Bennett to do what he threatens.
Arizona can’t MAKE Hawaii produce a legit document, and the DNC can’t MAKE Arizona produce a ballot with zero’s name on it.
This is one good mexican standoff.
