Oh, it may make me look sexist, but I actually don’t care if they think that. Most women I know, and several are in the military, don’t ever want to be in combat.

The qestions that should be asked is:

are 'equal' for jobs, so why are they not protesting non-stop on the right to be drafted?

2. Politicians are pushing combat assignments. Why not the draft issue?

Because the Draft is a non-issue, not having been used since Vietnam. I do not believe the Draft could be reactivated in the USA at this time. Certainly, if it were to be used the issue of drafting woman woul d have to be addressed first. There is no way that parents and boys themselves would possibly agree to a system that excluded woman, after woman having been promoted as equal in every realm of society for 50 years.

So the existing law is a ridiculous artifact and doesn't effect anyone.

Any draft would have to include a large 'alternative service' which would be available to concientious objectors, and this would quickly turn into a giant welfare program resulting in slackers getting free stuff for life as having served in a capacity the equivlant of combat veterans. The CO's could conceivably outnumber the fighters.

No one in today's Army was drafted, so whatever issues the ladies have with their status the draft eligibility isn't part of it.

Nope, sorry,I’m against.Although I’ve served in the Armed Forces I was never ordered within 5000 miles of a field of battle so I can’t claim any special insight but....the only female members of the Armed Forces that I’d want to see ordered into a combat area are physicians, nurses and other medical professionals.

No for Combat. No for Sea Duty which on 99% of the USN ships is also Combat Duty. I would never want my daughters to be in either circumstance for any reason.

Limit your audience. Only ask the people who have been there and done that...The rest should be quiet up and politely listen to them, combat isn't a game or a boys only club.

What you need to do is dig back in the more hidden and unimagined recesses in your family genealogy until you get to the White Coats.

They came from France in the world's only army already open to Jews, and they lost.

Nobody took them back home.

Many went South into the Ohio country.

That's what happens when you lost a major war ~

100% negative.

It upsets my patriotism as I don’t respect countries that send their women to war.

HELL YES, put them on point, or let them work the flank, give them K rations for a month at a time, let them go for two or three weeks without a shower, let them enjoy all of the fun of combat. They have been yelling and screaming for equal treatment for years, let them dig latrines, and then use them. I am sick and tired of women all the time yammering and yowling, let them enjoy the real world.

“Sheer stupidity. Going to get a lot of good men killed.”

And women of childbearing years. Which is probably the point.

How does that emotional outburst make any logical sense in regards to this liberal agenda to weaken our Military?

The idea is part of a many faceted attack on the multi-generational concepts that made traditional Western culture possible. While not an oxymoron, like the suggestion that people of the same sex could actually marry, it is still at least "half-baked."

The traditional concept that it is a male duty, in any rational society, to protect the women & children, was significant factor in a Chivalric code that has brought out the best in soldiers over the past 1200+ years. It reflects of course the, on average, better upper body strength of the male, so important to traditional combat; but it also is provides the motivation to the "above & beyond" the basic call to patriotic duty. It is in fulfilling such a male role that many see the proof of their own manhood.

When you compromise that call to a higher standard, you damage something that is not readily replaceable.

Of course, the "let's pretend" world that Leftist movements seek to impose, needs to pretend that people are interchangeable--that Equality, not excellence, must be the goal. But that compulsion driven pursuit will not bear critical analysis.

For the Feminist Absurdity, in general, see Delusion, which looks at several aspects of the Feminist war on femininity, and female excellence.. For a look at other aspects of the lunacy of Collectivist/Egalitarianism, see Sabotage.

The opinion of non military professionals about war, is nonsense..
Thats why we have military colleges..

Democrats in military school is a mistake.. most are traitors.. essentially..
Truthful Political ideology is basic.. Lie detector tests should be mandatory..

Considering many believe our troops are being groomed to be used against us, well, I’d rather face women and queers than men.

Agreed, but they need to be in all-women units. No way are most women physically capable of dragging/hoisting a male when it is needed the most.
