It would be fun to watch these two gangs club each other to death. Loathesome dirtbags though they are, the ‘fronters appear to have the law on their side, at least this time. The anarchists are playing with fire when they organize this kind of assault. If one of the Nazis had started shooting, it would almost certainly have been ruled justifiable, even in Chicago. Can you imagine the publicity? It would be the kind of propaganda coup Goebbels dreamed about.

You think the attackers would not have similarly assaulted a FReeper gathering? Here's my philosophy: people can have whatever political/racial/ideological viewpoints they want, as long as they refrain from violence. Anybody violently assaulting somebody, using lethal weapons, should be dealt with using deadly force.

I would hold the same viewpoint whether it was Stormfronters attacking leftists, or the current incident.
