Conservatives are lining up for Ted Cruz in Texas - this is the next important Tea Party election we have to win !

Tea Party Express endorsed Texas U.S. Senate candidate Ted Cruz has gotten national attention recently due to his surge in the polls, the Tea Party Express rallies throughout Texas supporting his candidacy, and the endorsement of Sarah Palin.

We wanted to send along a quick early voting reminder and a very cool audio message that we received from the Ted Cruz campaign that was recorded by Governor Sarah Palin to Texas voters.

Hear what Sarah Palin said about Ted Cruz and the Tea Party Express

Early voting has already begun in this important election and Ted Cruz needs our support now more than ever.  Many are calling him "the next Marco Rubio" and a "rising star in the Tea Party movement".  This is a race that we have to win!

The election is only 9 DAYS away!  We must build on the momentum that Sarah Palin has provided us with.  The polls are tightening and Ted Cruz is closing in on his opponent David Dewhurst.
.
Just like in Indiana, the Tea Party candidate is surging at just the right time, but we need your immediate support to push him ahead!

Governor Sarah Palin wrote: “We’re proud to join conservatives in Texas and throughout the nation in supporting your (Ted Cruz) campaign to become the next Senator from the Lone Star State.”

.
If you haven't heard about Ted Cruz, here is a little about why we have endorsed him and are fighting to send him to Washington:
.
Ted Cruz is a self-professed child of the Reagan revolution.  His parents fled Cuba after experiencing an oppressive government and instilled in Ted a profound respect and appreciation for freedom.  He understands that it is not our government that makes America run, but our entrepreneurial spirit.  He made money as a kid by reciting the Constitution from memory to Rotary Clubs in Texas and giving speeches on free-market economics.
.
As Solicitor General of Texas from 2003-2008, Cruz authored 80 U.S. Supreme Court briefs and personally argued 40 oral arguments, including 9 before the Supreme Court.  Named “a Republican star rising in Texas” and “a great Reaganite hope” by the National Review, Ted Cruz has led the fight against Obama’s offshore drilling moratorium and for private property rights for Americans.  His “Growth and Jobs Agenda” promotes a limited government plan that pledges to repeal ObamaCare and Dodd-Frank, kill Cap and Trade, and dramatically simplify the tax code.

Ted Cruz at the Tea Party Express Endorsement Press Conference in Dallas, Texas

We were honored to travel around the great state of Texas with him last month to endorse his campaign and hope that you will be as excited as we are about his candidacy.  We just held numerous rallies for Ted Cruz all across Texas this last week to rally support as part of our "Restoring the American Dream" bus tour.

We have a great candidate that we all need to support to send him to Washington!

One of Tea Party Express’ top priorities in 2012 is to elect a conservative majority to the U.S. Senate, and thanks to patriots like Ted Cruz, we are well on our way to doing just that.  But we need your support if we are going to be successful and finish the work we all started in 2010.

I’m thinking there’s some history here.

Is there alot of Dewhurst supporters on FR? If so, I’ve not seen them.

You need to convince that Texas freeper to change to Cruz.

Who do you think I am, Sauron? Ted Cruz picked up the support of the Tea Party,9-12 Patriot Groups and most Republican Women's groups back in August through October 2011 here in TX.

Dewhurst has a lot of money he's throwing at this race. I got three mailings from him just this past week. Plus, he is running a lot of television ads.

Cruz has been all over the state since last summer garnering supporters. It will be interesting.

I’m curious; if Ted Cruz is such a great conservative candidate why didn’t Texas Gov. Rick Perry endorse him? Anyone?

Rick Perry is in no way ‘conservative.” He is a big time Democrat that saw that his only way into office was to change parties. We call them RINOs.

I got those mailings too. They went straight into the recycling bin. Dewhurst thinks all that is necessary is to open his checkbook and send out mail and place ads on TV. Dewhurst has made a habit of not traveling around the state to meet with Republican activists. Cruz has been traveling all over the state meeting multiple times with various groups. I think Cruz's strategy is smarter.

I think Cruz is the obvious choice. Dewcrist, Leppert and that sportsguy have no good answer for this country.

DUMP ROMNEY and replace him with a stellar Dark Horse.

IF Romney is probably going to lose to Obama, THEN it is incumbent upon the RNC to intervene and declare an OPEN Convention, regardless of the Primary delegates that Romney has.

Continued accumulation of Primary delegates in the remaining State Primaries is the key to improving Paul’s chances of forcing the GOP-E to hold an OPEN Convention in Tampa.

Paul will then have completed his main task in this Primary: giving the delegates the freedom to DUMP ROMNEY!

My goal is to defeat the insanity of Keyensian Economics in “both” of our very sorry political parties THIS YEAR!

This can be accomplished by the Delegates choosing a stellar Dark Horse Nominee, such as R-Rep. West of Florida, to slaughter Obama in a November Landslide.

It is not enough to beat Obama, he must be smashed in a huge landslide to repudiate his Marxist ideas for America!

Romney is not Warrior enough to do so.

The key is to FORCE the GOP-E to allow for an OPEN Convention in Tampa. Without an OPEN Convention the SOS of INSANE Federal Over-Spending will keep America on the same crowded track with Greece, and Kalifornia.

There are over 15, 000, 000, 000, 000 reasons why spending more money this year than was taken in during the previous year is an INSANE path to financial destruction.

Neither Obama or Romney have presented a plan to spend our Federal dollars in a non-insane manner.

For example, the GOP Elite have stood in line to endorse Romney, to endorse “The Ryan Budget,” and to compromise-away every opportunity to reduce Federal Spending.

I included the Ryan Budget, because Rep. Paul Ryan himself says that his “Budget” will balance in 30 YEARS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, I added those exclamation points, because both you and I know that Ryan’s budget will NEVER balance, and thus will never be a fact. The exclamation points are just for volume emphasis.

Texans do not need anyone from out of state to tell them which conservative can best represent Texas. Conservatives know that Dewhurst is the proven conservative in the race.

Cruz has tons of out of state money enabling him to run attack ads against Dewhurst all over the state. In fact, I have heard more radio and TV ads this last week from Cruz than from Dewhurst and Leppert combined.

Editor-surveyor is trying to trick you. Perry is a conservative and he endorses Dewhurst because he knows Dewhurst is the true conservative in the race.

Cruz got both votes in this house about 5 minutes after early voting opened on the 14th.

I voted as early as possible out of paranoia -— our voter’s registration cards still had not shown up a month after friends/relatives had already received theirs. I contacted the registrar, and they sent out another copy to us immediately. I was so concerned re what happened to the originals, who might have them, and someone possibly trying to vote with them, that I decided to vote as soon as possible.

Good thing is that I handed them both my registration and photo ID, and asked them which one they would rather take. They had a little skimmer type device attached to their laptops, and they swiped my driver’s license to “check me in.” So they are more than ready to start using photo ID’s for voting.
