That’s what the word YUTES was invented for.
Why don’t they just ute that word instead?
How could "Asian" be a racial term? Between Istanbul and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskii, there are probably dozens if not hundreds of races.
In the Netherland and in France, the (Arab) Muslim rapists are named as “North Africans youths.”
Ethnicities, not races. Up until the PC crowd took over, there were three races. Caucasion, African, and Asian. Asia is a huge continent. Arabs (Near East Asia) to China (Far east Asia) and everthing in between. Muslim is not a race, it is a religious designation.
Here’s an idea - why not tell the truth? They’re muslim sex gangs.
The media caught in their sanitizing of the news. Only when people speak up will they be forced to report the actual news instead of propaganda.
“Asian sex gangs”
Now that we’ve established that PROFILING is acceptable, how about we move right along to ACCURATE?
Bingo!
There’s a lot of irony in this story that the writer seems blissfully unaware of.
The term ‘Asian’ in the UK is used to describe peoples of South Asian descent, ie India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and to a lesser extent Afghans. The reason the press uses this term is because the above mentioned races insisted on it! ‘Asian’ is the politically correct term chosen by British citizens of south Asian descent to replace Pakistani, Bangladeshi and so on when the overly sensitive amongst their number considered these terms to racially ‘delicate’.
So now the press use the cover all term Asian rather than refering to the country of origin or indeed their religion, but only because that is what was demanded.
“Heres an idea - why not tell the truth? Theyre muslim sex gangs.”
I agree, but here’s the problem - we also have Romanian sex gangs. Would you want them to be refered to as christian sex gangs, Romanian sex gangs or east european sex gangs?
Do we go with their religion, their country or their region and do we apply the same rules to everyone?
In England, they don’t use the term “Asian” the same way that we do. They mean Indians, Bengals, Pakistanis, etc when they say Asian, not what we used to call “orientals”, Arabs, or Central Asians.
Even when limited to the Subcontinent, "Asian" is hardly a racial term. There are dozens of races in the region--Tamils, Nagas, Punjabis, Sherpas, etc. Winston Churchill once commented that making India into a nation-state would be like turning the equator into a nation-state.
If their religion or culture or leaders of same sanction the rapes of non-christians similar to how Islam does, sure.
But they don't do they.
Excellent article and post. PC use of euphemisms to hide real problems (and real responsibility !) is disgusting.
its racial ‘cause the media is not calling these scum by their real name — Moslems. The other “Asians” like Sikhs, Hindus etc. aren’t the ones doing this, but get covered by the blanket term “Asian”
you can call the sex gang as Pakis.
Indeed, though the same applies to the US use of ‘Asian’ - there are many races between Mongolia and Indonesia!
When the gangs are driven by the belief of their so-called “religion” in their actions, it is appropriate for their religion to be named. The Romanians aren’t acting in the name of their religion, if they even claim Christianity. The Islamics use their religion as justification of their actions.
The sort of false equivalency you bring to this issue is characteristic of the arguments many on the Left bring to discussions of the problems with Islam.
I didn’t bring any false equivalency - I merely examined the logical use of language used in this case, nor did I state my opinion.
Do we identify people by their religion or by their nationality?
In my opinion we should generally describe people by their nationality, but in the case of Islam there is a strong case for using their religion as above all others, muslims seem to identify with their religion first and their nationality a poor second. I suspect it has a lot to do with the islamic concept of the ummah.
As far as this particular case goes Islam clearly has many ways of encouraging its’ followers to consider infidels below them and that clearly played its part, though I suspect the backward culture of Pakistan and Afghanistan played just as much a part in it.
