Victim, suspect dead in Little Rock after burglary

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say one person was found dead in a home and a possible suspect was killed by a Little Rock police officer after a burglary report.
Little Rock police say two people were found shot in a home on Thayer Street at about noon on Tuesday. Officers driving to the house saw a man with a handgun and tried to make contact with him.
Little Rock police spokesman Sgt. Cassandra Davis says an officer shot the man at least once, killing him.
One of the people in the home was dead and the other was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
Davis says officers aren't looking for any other suspects. Names of the dead, wounded and officers involved weren't immediately released.

What is not said is that the Capital View neighborhood has been having trouble with a burglary duo of young black males...two of them in a green honda. Their MO is that they do "yard work"...one blows a leaf blower out front while the other breaks in.
When the leaf blower goes off....time to bail!
Unfortunately, 
Charles E. Murry, Jr (extensive burglary record) decided to kill a neighbor that went to check on the house, as well as a handiman that was inside the house (both white). After the perp killed one of them and critically injured the other, he ran into responding LRPD officers, whom shot him after he tried to reload his pistol on the front porch of a neighbor.
Here is the photo of the perp who finally got his just deserts via the hands of LRPD responding officers. One shot to the head! Woot!

My question is this: This guy has an EXTENSIVE criminal history....Why isn't he in prison? Why did he kill the two good samaratins? Why didn't he just run? It looks like he was good at burglarizing homes....and no telling how many times he didnt get caught! Civilization thanks the LRPD for dispatching this scumbag to Hell, and prayers sent for the family of the victims.
