There were a lot of white Rhodesians. It was their country, too.
How'd everything work out for them?

Not very well, but that’s not what I’m arguing. I agree with you that for an outsider it makes sense to leave, but for these folks who ARE part of this land, it’s unthinkable. Imagine if tomorrow folks threaten you in the USA and some non-American says “why are you waiting there, leave now”?
