Will Obama Pull an LBJ and Drop Out?
Breitbart's Big Government ^ | Mike Flynn

Posted on 05/24/2012 5:58:12 AM PDT by netmilsmom

In 1968, the political world was shocked when President Lyndon Johnson, running for reelection just four years after a landslide victory, was held beneath 50% of the vote in the Democrat primary in New Hampshire. Sen. Eugene McCarthy scored a shocking 41.5% of the vote against the incumbent President.

The result confirmed Johnson's weakness going into the November general election. Within weeks, Sen. Robert Kennedy announced he would seek the Democrat nomination for President and Johnson announced that he would not. LBJ was bowing out of his reelection bid.

Today, the Obama reelection campaign is reeling from his disastrous performance in the Democrat primaries in Arkansas and Kentucky.

The flood of absentee ballots is larger than the total votes cast in the primary. That alone is suspicious.
Given the utility of absentee ballots for vote fraud, I’d be pleasantly surprised if it were a bunch of energized WI Republicans so eager to vote that they couldn’t wait for the polls to open.

Guns and Butter: MandateMitt=LBJ

The Central-Committee has already selected their Mandate-Man from Massachusetts to either begin implementation of the 10 trillion big steal, and/or start spending for another war.

So the Undocumented Coffee Server is quite irrelevant.

Mandate Mitt is the next LBJ.

One thing that people lose sight of - in addition to LBJ being in political trouble - LBJ was destroyed both in terms of his health and in terms of his spirit. In short - he was a beaten man. Men in his family had a long history of dying young and LBJ (who had already had several heart attacks) knew he would fit this pattern. In fact he died on Jan. 22 1973, basically two days after a second (third?) term for him would have ended.

Bottom line was that LBJ was used up and washed up by 1968. Vietnam, his health and probably his manic depression had combined to get the better of him. So the decision to drop out was not a purely political one.

This line of reasoning would suggest that 0bozo will not follow suit.

Obama naturalized as a US Citizen in 1983. Obama will have to withdraw from the 2012 election.

Do you know something or are you speculating? I'd love for that to be correct and provable. Or maybe not if it would promote Hitlery who now (inexplicably) has a 67% approval rating.

And who would run in his place? Biden? I just can’t see the Democrats letting that happen. Hubert Humphrey was a very respected person among Dems back then, but Biden? I don’t know. I would like to see it, though.

“but there is another possibility.”

What if the sociopath marxist is too vain to lose?
What if he’d rather go down in history as the ‘martyred’ gay president ?

“My fellow Americans, it has become apparent that because of my profound and heartfelt evolution on the basic human right of gay men to marry, and because racists, bigots, and Catholics no longer can stand the sight of me; and because Michelle won’t let me run with Hillary, for the good of the country and my martyrdom I have decided to relinquish the presidency. Michelle and I thank you for allowing us to rape the country. Allahu Akbar! “

I do wonder how an egotistical maniacal fascist like the bamster will handle an electoral landslide against him?

"The flood of absentee ballots is larger than the total votes cast in the primary. That alone is suspicious."

Got a link for this? Here (see link) it says 1.3 total votes were cast in the primary and were pretty evenly split between Rep voting for Walker and Dems voting for Barret and Falk but Walker actually got more votes then did Barret and Falk combined. Now you are claiming the burst of mailed in ballots has exceeded 1.3 MILLION? That's simply not possible because it means no one will show up at the polls on election day since they have already voted. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/05/09/one-million-recall-signatures-and-only-650k-votes

I had seen that but you contended the absentee ballots had passed the total votes in the primary and not the total ABSENTEE VOTES, which is saying something entirely different.

In any case the absentee requests had not come from any particularly Dem areas as opposed to Rewp areas so nothing can be drawn by this story.

Go here. This may give you a bit more of a balanced perspective on this subject.

From the linked article.

“Early voting has soared in the past few major elections, driven by voter courting from both major parties who have seen tactical advantages in getting the vote out before election day.

But Wisconsin’s unusual schedule in this recall election, with an early June election day, has something to do with the push to vote early.

“Obviously, school is over for some people and will be by June 5 for others, so that may affect the number of absentee ballots,” said Reid Magney, GAB spokesman.

That means a lot of Wisconsin voters will be boating or fishing or traveling — anywhere but a polling booth.

That’s just crazy talk.

***

I never used to believe conspiracy theories...then Obama came along.

Remember that Obama is a Communist, Socialist, Fascist, whatever. People like that take power by force.

Sometime, read up on Hitler. Or for that matter, just about any other dictator. They all have pretty much the same M.O. They usually come along during hard times. They blame the problems on someone or some group of people. They promise the moon and over time these promises are used to cultivate a huge number of rabid followers who will do whatever it takes to put them in power. And if there is competition for the top job, that competition somehow “disappears.” Once the competition is neutralized, they will set about purging any and all “enemies of the state.” Oh and they don't need the regular military to seize control. They have their own secret military or paramilitary force to do the job.

Slowly but surely, Obama is doing all of the above. And like other dictators before him, neither Congress nor the Courts will do anything about it. Oh, a few might grumble, but they will be neutralized too.

[ Is Kenya a non-extradition country? If he flees post-election, the House could bring up charges of treason and fraud, indict him in providing false information for his candidacy, declare his presidency null and roll back 4 years of Hell. Obama would never see the inside of a cell since he’s a billionaire living it up in Kenya.

More pie-in-the-sky, but it’s nice to dream. ]

1.6 Billion from MF Global would be a CHEAP PRICE to get the Usurper out of office....

Maybe we should fund a “Freepathon” to raise 3 Billion dollars to be awarded to Obama to leave post haste...

I truly believe that martial law will be declared on some engineered pretext before the elections, the Constitution suspended indefinitely and so on.

They really, really, really don't want to push that button. Once they do, it can't be un-pushed. It'll be American Revolution II, and they will lose.

Voting for the socialist is in their best interest.

You might want to remind them of that. 40% of them just voted for ABO in two recent Democrat primary races.

...he is gonna be kneecapped. Scandal, humiliating career-ending leak, sudden appearance of the real B.C., mysterious plane accident....I don’t know what’s gonna happen but they are planning something, because absent that their entire party is goin’ down.

That was my line of thinking about a year ago. Now, I'm not so sure. The Democrat power elite should have forced him to stand down by now, but they haven't. That tells me that they're either too chicken to nudge him, or he's consolidated such a powerful cabal of insiders, that it can't be done.

Well Crazy talk or not, I intend to be as ready as I can. as is my right. The same thing was said In Germany in about 1937...

Hitler was smart. He took the people's guns, first. Bozo doesn't stand a chance of doing that here.

"SHE WOULD WIN!"

cant argue with that..

You guys are funny. That old bag isn't going to win anything. The left doesn't want her, and she isn't interested in the job anyway. Bozo has set the Dems up for a long walk in the political wilderness, and none of them want to be anywhere near the abomination he's caused - especially Hillary.

You guys really ought to come up to present time. Hillary is ancient history in Democrat circles. She's got little pull with voters, and hasn't got a single new idea to bring to the table. If by some miracle, she were to run again, she'd draw even fewer votes than Obama would.

Her time has passed. She knows it, and so should you.

Yeah, in a couple of red states. Elsewhere — don’t hold your breath. :-)
