I would sit out the election if ABO (or Bill Ayers LOL!) was running for the Dems. The Conservatives take the Congress and we start moving this country back.

Any thoughts?

Pie-in-the-sky. Obama is a serial, clinical narcissist. This will NOT happen.

O’s leftist, anti-colonial, and Islamic Messiah complex and Mooch’s Marie Antoinette attitudes won’t let him/them quit.

He might want to graduate to UN President of the World, but can’t on such short notice. He won’t drop out—he’ll intensify the negative campaign and ramp up the vote-stealing effort.

The article answers its own question and I agree, Johnson had just enough humility to do the right thing, Obama doesn't.

He'll need to be thrown out.

No way, no how. In 1968, LBJ had just won the New Hampshire Primary by 7% over Eugene McCarthy, not a convincing margin. Robert Kennedy was tuning up to run, and in my opinion might have gotten the nomination.

They’ve got something big planned for October.

The Romney campaign has proved surprisingly agile, and except for the reverand Wright crap, don’t seem to be intimidated by Obama’s attacks.

This election year may be the reverse of 2008, where everything goes against Obama and all the insidious machinations backfire and fizzle out; where the people say in large numbers “we don’t need any of these games anymore. Let’s get rid of this guy and be done with it. Anybody else would be better.”

Obama is not as smart as LBJ (who wasn’t that smart himself).

O LOVES being the center of attention. My guess is he doesn’t really like the work of being president, and wishes he could have all the attention without the work - witness all his vacations. I think he likes campaigning, because it’s filled with adoring fans who “faint”.

LBJ I always got the impression he was sorry he became president. He liked the wheeling and dealing behind the scenes. I think he liked being a “power broker”, and was a manipulating control freak. Look at the legislation he pushed through - most of it was about controlling people.

George Bush I think truly wanted to help his country, and had it pushed in him from a young age this was how you serve. Notice how he avoids the limelight. He actually sneaks into hospitals, rather than allow pictures, unlike the self-absorbed O.

Clinton is the first president I ever saw who I felt really just loved being president. He really likes the job, all the way through.

If Obama drops out, the race riots will only be half as big as they're going to be when he out-and-out loses.

You couldn't pay me to be in a big city on election night.

NO.
LBJ, for all his faults, was still an AMERICAN.
This guy is a sociopathic narcissist that will instead DOUBLE DOWN on his re-election campaign, slinging mud, making up crap and outright lying to the American people because he knows the MSM will roll over and play along...............

really....I think I am more afraid of Hillary than BHO.

zer0 is an openly Marxist POS.

Hillary is much more subtle, but just as left leaning...

“Of course, I don’t think Obama will have the self-awareness of LBJ and drop out of the Presidential campaign. And, I certainly don’t believe the media will revisit their old contention that an incumbent president losing 40% of his own party’s vote is a sign of vulnerability. I expect they’ll sweep it under the rug and pretend it doesn’t mean anything special.”

Mr. Flynn knows that Obama would never drop out even though behind the scenes many Democrats are praying — oops — “hoping” that he would.

No way he’ll drop out. Mooch-elle would kick his skinny homo ass. Who would pay for these lavish multi-million dollar vacations? Her? No way. He’d get his ass kicked by the yeti that he lives with.

Even if he wanted to he would not be allowed to by Jarrett, Soros, Ayers, et. al. They have used him to finally grasp the power they sought and unless another suitable front man can be found they will never let him step away.

>> Any thoughts?

Obama won’t drop out, and in spite of his poor performance and lousy tone-deaf campaign, the election will be close.

Why?

The difference between 1968 and 2012 isn’t so much the candidate as it is the ELECTORATE.

50% of the electorate are either irresponsible libertines, or minorities whipped into an anti-conservative frenzy by activists, or dependent in one way or another on government handouts for their survival. OR some or all of the above.

Voting for the socialist is in their best interest.

Our great hope is that a lot of them are just disillusioned enough not to show up to vote at all.

I am 100% certain that there has been massive and building pressure from Democrat insiders on Barry to do this. I am sure it started months ago when they started soiling their underwear over internal polls.

Barry is of course far too arrogant to play along. And being black the Dem power structure is too P.C. to force his hand.

So he is gonna be kneecapped. Scandal, humiliating career-ending leak, sudden appearance of the real B.C., mysterious plane accident....I don’t know what’s gonna happen but they are planning something, because absent that their entire party is goin’ down.
