On May 16 and 17 of 2012, Channel One Network, a national distributor of educational videos and newscasts viewed daily by over 8,000 middle and high schools, aired a two-part video series, titled "Young and Muslim in America" and "Islam in America."
In "Young and Muslim in America: How being a part of Islam changed ten years ago, Part 1," students watch as Muhtasham Sifaat, 18, kneels on a prayer rug inside an empty classroom. His voiceover explains how he moved around a lot when he was younger, but Islam has given him stability. What is not revealed is that Mr. Sifaat is a political activist serving as a chapter president of the Muslim Students Association (MSA), one of the most radical Muslim Brotherhood front groups in America. The MSA pledge states: "Allah is my lord. Islam is my life. The Koran is my guide. The Sunna is my practice. Jihad is my spirit. Righteousness is my character. Paradise is my goal. I enjoin what is right. I forbid what is wrong. I will fight against oppression. And I will die to establish Islam.

Children who attend godless government schools **will** learn to think and reason godlessly. They must just to cooperate in the classroom. How could it be otherwise?
Sadly,...I fear that only a nation rooted firmly in their faith will have the fortitude to stand up to Islam, and our children will never get this in government owned and run secular ( godless) K-12 schools.
Again...Conservatives!...Work to shut down the government owned and run K-12 schools. Work to see that every child in this nation has access to a private education that will fully teach them to defend their faith and our nation's founding principles.
Another Reason to work for the complete abolition of government socialist-entitlment and single-payer schooling.
I was happy to see an ad promoting private online cyber-schooling here in Michigan this morning. Its a great alternative or add on to home schooling.
Fortunately the state legislature recently raised the cap on the number of students who could be enrolled. Next stop is a total elimination of the limits.
Question: Young, Muslim, America.
Answer: Name three words that do not belong in the same sentence.
As long waiting lists form for online-schooling, vouchers, and charters, the parents of these children will join together to create highly effective lobbying groups.
It is coming. The cracks are deepening in the foundations of the citadel of government socialist-entitlement schooling.
Large and intractable institutions can lose their legitimacy seemingly overnight. Some examples are the Protestant Reformation, the American Revolution, the end of slavery, and Jim Crow. Government socialist-entitlement K-12 schooling is NOT an exception. It is losing its legitimacy.
Why stop at fomenting mere racial conflict when it can be flamed into a religious race war?

Even God cannot wake “conservatives” from their self-induced coma just as He was unable to prevent Adam and Eve to sin.
We have very few, if any, politicians with backbone.
Plenty of them will attack the 2nd Amendment to get into the limelight but shy away from checking a murderous cult like Islam because of their 1st Amendment ‘rights’.
Why should the 1st Amendment have to acknowledge and protect an ideology that openly vows to destroy the very host that created and maintains that amendment?
It is beyond comprehension why the US is so keen on committing national suicide by supporting Islam. And all the while Congress remains mute on this subject.
This is Michigan legislative news for the most part but they cover education as a priority.

Ah, can anyone imagine the crap storm if in PUBLIC SCHOOLS, there was a video that was aired called "Young and CATHOLIC in America," or "Judaism in America?"
So, where is the phony, leftist, loon, Hypocrite anti-Christian (and so called "Reverend"--though he has NO church/parish--) Barry Lynn, the ACLU (Anti Christian Litigation Union) or any other advocate for the "Separation of Church and State?"
Wish I were a parent that had a student in one of the schools that showed this vid as I would be in Federal Court on Tuesday a.m. filing a suit and asking for an injunction as well as trying to get the Lame Stream Media to report on this matter.
Can you imagine the storm, here on Free Republic, if the video was, “Young and Mormon in America”?
Far from it. He gave them and us the freedom of choice.
He wanted what we give him to be freely given, otherwise we'd be robots.
He could easily have designed them to obey, but it wouldn't have given him anything more than he already had.
Just because we walk and talk doesn't mean we don't bear fruit like plants.

Yet another reason I am glad that I left the teaching profession early.
I was pleased to read this at the end: Florida Family Association is already protesting this attempt at nationwide Islamic recruitment by creating an e-mail campaign directed at Channel One Network and its parent companies: Alloy, Inc. and ZelnickMedia Corporation. It's a start.
