I cannot begin to express the admiration I have for all of our warriors: active, post-service, the wounded, the fallen. And the families thereof — those who wait also serve.
God BLESS you all — all branches, all families, all loved ones, and our allies and their families and loved ones.
On the Memorial Day you will be in my heart. Please also know you will be in my heart all the days until next year. And the cycle will begin again until my eternity.
*hugs* to you Kathy — and these are, of course passable hugs to all.
Bless one and all.
Thank you for those incomparable words.
To my Dad (Coast Guard, WWII-now in heaven) and my son (Coast Guard - Operation Iraqi Freedom) and to all of our loved ones who have served and are serving our country, our gratitude.
I am watching the Memorial Day tribute in Washington D.C. on television right now.
I feel a fierce sense of patriotism mixed with sadness.
