I used to wonder why he continued with the drone strikes until I deduced 1). He is taking out "the wrong" Jihadist... thus, the Muslim Brotherhood has been able to grow and unite like never before. 2). The strikes aggravate and really do grow the Islamic ranks.
That's what I thought this story was originally about when I first saw the title.
