DeFranco ready to spoil the party for Dems (and the undocumented Cherokee)

Elizabeth Warren, the cigar-store Indian from Cambridge, will win the Democratic Party convention endorsement for the U.S. Senate on Saturday, but it could be something of a mixed victory.

Rather than an outright coronation, Warren, the undocumented Cherokee, will have to beat the only remaining Democrat opposing her for the party convention endorsement. That is Marisa DeFranco.

Handily defeating DeFranco at the Springfield gathering of several thousand delegates to the convention will be no problem for Warren. She is backed by President Barack Obama, Hollywood and the liberal establishment here, there and everywhere, and she has raised millions of dollars in campaign contributions.

The problem for Warren is that if DeFranco gets the required 15 percent of the delegate vote, as expected, DeFranco will appear on the September Democratic primary ballot along with Warren for the party nomination

Don’t count her out. Democrtic voters have shown time and again that they vote for the sleaziest, criminally backed candidates that are available. Look at marion barry, bwaney fwank, and charlie rangel.

I remember the DeFranco Family well. My sister had all their records and thought they were going to take over the world. "Bigger than the Beatles" is what I remember her saying. Of course, she had already said that about The Osmonds and The Cowsills. She would soon be saying it about The Bay City Rollers.
