Bost, R-Murphysboro, angry over a Democrat-led, last-minute plan to overhaul state pensions, launched into a screaming tirade, irate over expectations that lawmakers accept the bill without time to read it over thoroughly.
"These damn bills that come out of here all the damn time, come out out here at the last second," Bost raged, tossing papers in all directions as he spoke.
Bost leveled his anger toward House Speaker Mike Madigan, a Democrat, saying legislators are constantly giving him sole power what does and doesn't happen in Springfield.
