What’s up with all the skips ? 3 in the first 9 minutes . I listen to Levin sometimes via podcast and have never heard one skip , yet Savage’s show often has them .

I don’t know why Savage is surprised about the doings today in the WH.

The Bush family ‘adopted’ BJ. So, I fully expect them to do the same with BHO.

As Savage says, they are all part of the same cabal that runs Washington.

Savage says he wants his listeners to go to his web site to see the important news.. tons of it. In my opinion that's the responsibility of the talk show host. It's called show prep.

People tuning in on the way home from work -- and that is what makes the time slot so prized -- are listening to the radio to hear about those important items.

But Savage has the talent like few others to attract listeners to hear him read a telephone book -- with personal stories about growing up and what he had for lunch.

BTW.. San Francisco's famous conservative station KSFO dropped C2C which they've had for years, years and years; Red Eye Radio replaced C2C; sister station KGO did have Red Eye Radio and now has Bloomberg shows during the overnight hours. Sounds good. Bloomberg could be very interesting even if I am not likely to use what I learn.

Savage saying men don’t really care about how each other are doing reminds me of another talk show host who used to ridicule this.

People would call Tom Leykis and ask, “How are you doing?” To which he’d answer a question with a question, “Do you care?”

Many times people said “No,” or laughed.

Nowadays Leykis has this show dedicated to beer and wine named “Tasting with Tom.”
