George Zimmerman's bond revoked; must surrender in 48 hours

SANFORD, Fla. (KABC) -- A judge has revoked George Zimmerman's bail, giving the Florida neighborhood watch volunteer 48 hours to surrender.

The judge's move comes after prosecutors filed a motion requesting to revoke his bond on Friday, saying Zimmerman misled the court about his finances and his possession of a second passport, which he acquired two weeks after he shot unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin during an altercation.

In recordings of conversations also released Friday, Zimmerman and his wife are heard talking cryptically about his second passport in a safety deposit box they shared. The two speak in code in the recording.

Zimmerman's original passport was due to expire in May. He applied for a second passport, claiming the first one was lost or stolen.

In the motion, prosecutors also point out that Zimmerman had $135,000 in his bank account the day before his bail hearing, in which he declared himself financially indigent.

Of course they are speaking in code and using cryptic language, they both know he is going to hang over this.

Why would he get a second passport? Think he may be concerned about being railroads?

Obviously not a very good code if the mental midgets in the prosecutors office could decipher it. It was probably something like "Nixa on the passporta in the bankboxa"

The dems and little Napolean RINOs want this guy so bad it is making their teeth ache.

He is going to be exonerated if a jury gets to even-handidly and safely review the evidence. It is overwhelmingly clear at this point that Zimmerman was defending himself.

If they allow the Jury to be threatened (which the New Black Panthers are sure to do), or if they give instructions that either disallow evidence or cause them to ignore the basic facts...then you never know.

As to the bond...if indeed he lied to the court, that would be grounds to revoke it. Saying that he and his wife were speaking in “code” is kind of thin grounds though, IMHO.

Zimmerman needs to go ahead and use that second passport. If he hasn’t already used it. I would certainly leave the country. He’d better wake up and realize there are too many cowards in this country and they’re afraid not to convict him.

That's the 64 thousand dollar question. Sounds like illegal wiretapping to me. Or Crump is lying again. GZ isn't going to get out of this. It has had set up on it from the minute Jesse, Al and Hussein jumped in. I'd have exit plans in the works and the means to leave within a moment's notice.

It wasn't revoked for speaking in code. It was revoked because he lied about his finances, and because he had a second passport (it is a standard condiction of bail that you turn over your passport; if he secretly had a second one, it is evidence of an intent to flee).

Zimmerman's original passport was due to expire in May. He applied for a second passport, claiming the first one was lost or stolen.

Sounds like the judge is an idiot. He could have requested the State Department tell him if that passport was his only passport and whether it was still valid. If he reported his first passport as lost or stolen, the State Department would immediately make that passport no longer valid for travel. Not only that, but he lied on the application for the replacement passport. I just got a new passport. The application clearly states that it is a crime to knowingly and willfully make false statements in the passport application or the supporting documents.

WARNING: False statements made knowingly and willfully in passport applications, including affidavits or other documents submitted to support this application, are punishable by fine and/or imprisonment under U.S. law including the provisions of 18 USC 1001, 18 USC 1542, and/or 18 USC 1621. Alteration or mutilation of a passport issued pursuant to this application is punishable by fine and/or imprisonment under the provisions of 18 USC 1543. The use of a passport in violation of the restrictions contained herein or of the passport regulations is punishable by fine and/or imprisonment under 18 USC 1544. All statements and documents are subject to verification.

Given a reasonably neutral jury, O'Mara can effectively neutralize this and, perhaps, even turn it to Z's advantage.
He seems one of the drawer's sharper knives; unlike, and a couple leagues above, the loathsome whore, Corey.
The crux will be the jury pool in that particular venue.

But in looking at the cesspool that 'just.us' in this country has become, Z might wisely decide that his interests are best served in Peru, etc.

If he did those things, then, as I said, it should be revoked.

But that does not change the facts of the case...it just means the guy thought he was going to get railroaded and was making plans he shouldn't have made.

I still believe if the trial is fair, he will be exonerated.

The finances issue has been common knowledge for over a month, why now? -

There is a question to be asked (I don't know the answewr) as to whether those funds were under his effective control or whether he knew the amounts involved.

In the motion, prosecutors also point out that Zimmerman had $135,000 in his bank account the day before his bail hearing, in which he declared himself financially indigent.

According to Z's lawyer O'Mara, this paypal account was turned over to him when he found out about it and has been in his control ever since. So what's the big deal.

While the Zimmerman/Martin ‘white’ on black killing is covered 24/7 on the MSM with an outpouring of rage and charges of a racial hate crime, where is the concern- where is the rage about the home invasion, torture, beating, rape and murder of the elderly white couple by a gang of feral blacks in Oklahoma just a few weeks ago?

The 90 year old war veteran husband was beaten and his jaw broken. He was shot in the face numerous times with a BB gun and sent to the hospital in critical condition.

The 85 year old partially blind wife was RAPED and then BEATEN TO DEATH.

Can you just imagine the pain, the humiliation, the horror that dear old lady experienced being gang raped by that pack of feral animals?

(the autopsy states she was raped. Don’t think all of these animals didn’t all participate)

And can you imagine the pain, the horror of that dear old husband having to witness this?

Mr. Strait died from his injuries last week.

There’s a lot more involved here than a home invasion and robbery.

WHERE ARE THE CHARGES OF A RACIAL HATE CRIME??

90 year old husband’s jaw broken and shot in face with a BB gun numerous times?

85 wife year old semi blind wife RAPED and BEATEN to death??

Why does it take a foreign press to enlighten America as to this henious crime?

WHERE IS THE NATIONAL OUTRAGE?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2117695/Brutal-home-invasion-Oklahoma-couple-ends-65-year-romance-meeting-blind-date.html

__________________________

Have they caught the rest of the gang of feral blacks who raped, tortured and murdered this elderly woman? Are they even looking? Not a word about it in the media.

Zimmerman won't commit suicide...but being murdered is a real possibility. The latest prediction was the trial won't start until 2013. That's assuming he is still alive.

This also helps to taint the jury pool even more against Zimmerman assuming it does come to trial.
