There was a time in W. PA when the Feds taxed your home-made Whiskey.

“I have nothing to say. I want to speak with my attorney.”

Two simple phrases that could have saved this woman a whole lot of grief. Everyone should learn them and be spring-loaded to say them if the police come calling.

One nit to pick, dogs cannot be murdered; they can only be unjustly killed.

Reason being, murder is restricted to the realm of humans because humans are not mere animals.

Try that line of reasoning with the JBT's after killing one of their canine 'officers'.

I actually would. If words cease to have particular meaning, then the law [being words] must literally be meaningless.
This is axiomatic.

Eric and Janet place people that look like you on their list of potential terrorists.

The Border Patrol guy many gun culture people idolized endorsed the idea of dropping a throw-down gun at the scene of a “bad shoot” to protect the career of the officer.

Now the more likely thing is a bag of drugs held back from the evidence of a major bust.

I once trusted police;now I look at career law enforcement as like fire: a dangerous servant and a fearful master (to paraphrase G. Washington).

Indeed, sounds like the ATF is robing people of their rights in their insane lawless gun-control campaign while trying to make themselves look less bad by claiming its drug control.

I honestly don’t care what this woman owns drugs or guns, i don’t see how its any of Washington’s lawful business.

“A real crime has three elements. A Perpetrator. A Victim. And actual damage done. There is no victim here and no damage done to anyone else or their property.”

Indeed, and even if such a crime had taken place, it would not be Washington’s jurisdictional to do anything about it. That would belong to Georgia or whatever other state this lady happen to hurt someone in.

But as she nether hurt nor attempted to hurt anyone How can she legitimacy be said to be guilty of any crime? Washington running a muck and a poor Georgia woman paying the price this time, with all of us picking up the bill. If you ask me it is theses Federal AFT agents that should be jailed not this woman.

A sentiment echoed by most in the "gun culture" across America.

Likewise......I’m not sure I understand the nature of the “crime” committed here..other than that of “ extreme individualism”...... Something most of the Founding Fathers could’ve been indicted for.....
