Can I get an exemption from:
Speed limits
Income taxes
and a wildcard “get out of jail-free” just in-case?

I mean - the whole equal in the eyes of the law thing is out the window. So, why not?

I’m confused.

The article states that this amendment has only passed a House committee so far. A Republican-controlled House.

Or is the purpose of the article to gin up anger against politicians in general?

It certainly does not reflect poorly on the Democrats. And it’s not a law, yet.
