Now that it is over, perhaps the worthless unions should reimburse the state for the millions it cost the citizens to pay for this debacle!
They stole money from the poor, the schools, the “little children” and probably stole their lunch money. Grandma may not even get her teeth fixed.

Special elections in Mississippi and elsewhere in 2008 that went to the Dems sure were big news for them then.
Another silver lining to this is how much this cost the unions. Their war chest has to be dented.

Now, it gets interesting. The fact is, Gov. Walker hadn't set out to put in a bill "stripping public employee unions of their collective bargaining rights through Wisconsin's legislature"; his aim was only to make them take a little less so as to save the budget. But, thanks to the Great Liberal Media blowing his minor reforms out of proportions, he now has a real genuine mandate to "[strip] public employee unions of their collective bargaining rights through Wisconsin's legislature."
Way to go, media: your ballyhoo just made Gov. Walker's victory more momentous than it would have been, had you decided not to thump the tub. You people really got hoist by your own petard, now didn't you?
How far it will go, nobody knows - but the tide has turned. I'd watch out for a PATCO-style confrontation next.
