See the spreadsheet here and note the point spreads of males versus females. Also of note, 38% of those associated with labor unions voted for Walker! 18% of Obama supporters also voted for Walker..

The exit polls showing a 'neck and neck' race between Walker and Barrett lack credibility but this spreadsheet validates expectations and also underscores Obama's divisive campaign strategy for November 2012.

7% of TEA party supporters voted against Walker.

7%.

1 in 14? Who are there people??

If you don’t support Walker, you don’t understand the TEA party.

I just can’t bring myself to give any respect to a story like this. I’ve been voting for over 40 years and never have I been asked how old I was, how much I make or who i voted for the last time. In fact, I’ve never been asked anything. Other than frequency that shows up on research data I think most voting is anonymous, unless someone desires otherwise.

exit polls are meaningless. It is amazing the exit polls were wrong but the NYT drags this out as if it is fact...

38% of those associated with labor unions voted for Walker

Every Wisconsin media I’ve seen has been receiving this same feedback from voters aside from any exit polls. A lot of union members may not have been vocal about it ahead of time but they knew what was best for the state and their families, and they voted for Walker.

Too interesting pieces of info: 40% were college-education and they split evenly (49-50), people who didn't graduate college voted mainly for Walker and they made up 60% of the vote. BUT people under $50,000 went against Walker and over $50,000 went for Walker.

So college diplomas don't seem to line up with income over $50,000.

Second, of the people who thought that Recall is Never okay (as opposed to "for misconduct"), 5% voted to recall him anyway.

It depends on who’s conducting the poll.. These numbers seem to line up with reason, IMO.

It's also important to differentiate between labor unions and public sector unions. Labor unions had made concessions over time and many of these workers don't have nearly the perks that public sector unions enjoy.

Plants or folks who just say they are from the Tea Party. Pollsters don't verify, so folks just say whatever they want to.

Exit polls have little credibility, none where unions are involved. With cell phone cameras and surveillance everywhere would you, as a union member, tell the pollster you just voted for Walker? You know your shop steward will have the information by your next day at work.

You have to file these strange stats under the Elvis Factor. A poll taken in the mid 1990’s showed that ten percent of the American people believe Elvis is still alive, and 8 percent believe if you send him a letter, he will get it.

You have to factor “nuts” into any poll. There will always be 10% +/- in any poll that just doesn’t make sense.
