When it surfaced she'd been self-identifying in professional law directories as a Native American, she insisted the listings had nothing to do with her Harvard hiring, even though they were used for affirmative-action recruiting. She explained she was just trying to get "invited to a luncheon" with members of her alleged tribe...But Democrats, led by Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick and the Obama camp, are rallying to her defense.

I hold out hope that significant numbers of Massachusetts members of the once-great Democratic Party will look at the bone-deep duplicity and lack of dignity in this well-heeled grifter and say to themselves...

"NO! We are smarter that Elizabeth Warren thinks and we are just plain better than she thinks." And then, work vigorously for, and vote for Scott Brown.

Shucks, in my family history, I have pictures of great-great& maybe even great grandfather’s that were married to supposedly Cherokee women on both my dad’s and my mom’s side of the family. Circa 1860’s/70’s Have the pictures to at least prove they were sitting next of women that appeared to be Indian descent.

I really don’t know what percentage of Indian heritage that makes me. I always put down that I was white, except when we filed for scholarships after taking our sata tests (early 70’s). A couple of my friends and I mistakenly checked the box “black” and were given opportunities for scholarships at several different universities until it was determined that we checked the wrong box.

Stupid us. We should have been more careful.

True story. Don’t know why so many people were mad at us for making a silly mistake like that.
