...jumper cables, tow chain, crescent wrench, screwdriver, gloves, duct tape, matches, water, food bars and a blanket.
As a minimum.
For “nice” weather.
(Of course, my vehicles don’t get out of the shed any time of the year without the Drive-the-Highline-Winter-From-Heck emergency kit, and the kids and grandkids all get that as Lesson Number One before they start to drive.)
Unions have become a scourge.
I was part of one once.
At least I had the option of not paying dues, but I still had to play by their BS games.
That was bad enough, but public Unions that wield tons of power that are funded by the private citizen are insane!
And the private citizen has no option to not pay the union!
I take that back, Wi just exercised its option. LOL

It’s just civilian MREs.
Emergency rations that need no refrigeration.
My food supply tends toward the protein bars and dehydrated dinner packs for hikers/climbers.
Less bulk and weight, and some of ‘em don’t even taste half bad.
....even if tasting good is a factor when the next meal is a genuine emergency.
