Is Bobby Jindal being vetted by the Romney camp? He won’t say he is, won’t say he isn’t

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal has enjoyed endorsements from influential conservatives who want to see him on the ballot with Mitt Romney in November, but he won't divulge if he's being considered.

After a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Chicago Friday, Jindal declined to answer when asked specifically if Romney's campaign is vetting him for the job.

"When it comes to the whole VP question, look, I've got the job that I want. I'm not going to speculate on what Gov. Romney's going to do," Jindal told reporters. "I'm not going to comment on his process the same way four years ago I didn't comment on any of the speculation back then. All I'm going to say is that I look forward to supporting whoever Governor Romney selects to be on his ticket."

Bobby Jindal is not ready to be President should somehting happen to Romney. And besides, he is not Constitutionally qualified any more than little barry bastard was. How do we uphold our Constitution by spitting on it the way the Democrats have?

“Damn I wish she ran.”

You are not alone. I think she got an offer she could not refuse.

That was still the biggest face plant I’ve ever witnessed. It is etched in my memory forever. He’s an ad libber, not a teleprompter.

Piyush Amrit “Bobby” Jindal

born June 10, 1971 in Baton Rouge, LA (Meets the Jus Soli Requirement)

Parents were
Amar Jindal born in India, naturalized Dec. 4, 1986
Raj Jindal born in India, naturalized Sept 21, 1976.

Parents were NOT US Citizens at the time of his birth (Does NOT meet the Jus Sanguinis Requirement)

Bobby Jindal is NOT a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN.

Bobby's status is the same as that of Barry Soetoro, aka Barack Hussein Obama, who is NOT a Natural Born Citizen.

"If Romney was going to pick Jindal, Christie makes more sense politically. "

Christie is no more of a conservative than Romney. Forget Christie. He brings nothing to the equation. Probably not even NJ.

I agree on Ryan, but how does a just not an attractive person get to be a (GOP!) governor of a state?

Yep, that “Republican Rebuttal” he made was bad. I always think of that when someone mentions Jindal for VP.

Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan? Um.. I just do not see it. Are we forgetting who Romney truly is? Grandfather of socialized medicine and lots of other things. I was hoping Ryan would primary against Romney in 2016. When I think of how the 06 congress changed GW, it reminds me that Romney is already Left of Center. We need to be focused on 2016 instead.

I am appalled that supposed ‘conservatives’ in this forum are apparently considering a potential candidate that does not meet the U.S. Constitutional requirements for qualification to be President.

We’re no better than them if we fail to recognize facts and abide by rules.

"Best governor in the country. He’s a helluva manager. Perfect #2 man if Romney really wants to get things done. The anti-Biden."

An excellent and seasoned manager he is, but I'm thinking Romney might need somebody who knows the legislative game. Ryan or Rubio would be best for that role. Plus, for "electability," both Ryan and Rubio bring a lot to the table.

Jindal needs to stop talking in that rapid-fire clipped Louisiana-ese. A speech coach would do him wonders. Learn to take a breath when speaking, Governor.

I shouldn’t have said that.

I haven’t seen enough of Bobby Jindal talking, being interviewed, etc.

Sometimes one’s personality comes through and makes one look more attractive.

It looks like the c-pac folks picked Rubio by a large margin.

Oddly enough, the second place guy was Christie ... you’d think he wouldn’t be conservative enough for them.

And, going on looks (as I so shallowly did) Christie is way fat, but not bad looking. He’d be gorgeous if he’d lose that weight.

But, hey, I can’t seem to lose the 5 pounds I want to lose, so .....
