Gun advocate: AG Holder has 'great deal to hide'

A gun-rights advocate says it will probably take the election of a new president to hold Attorney General Eric Holder accountable for his responsibility in the "Fast and Furious" gun-running scandal.

During Capitol Hill hearings on Thursday, Holder frustrated Republican members of the House Judiciary Committee who wanted to know what he knew in advance of public disclosure of the gun-running tactic in early 2011. But during questioning, Holder mostly answered with "I don't know."

As part of the ill-fated operation, the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) intentionally put guns into the hands of drug cartel members. Two of those weapons were later used to kill U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry.

Holder has "a great deal to hide," says Alan Gottlieb, founder of the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF).

"Quite honestly he's already basically perjured himself on previous testimony before Congress -- and at this point he doesn't want to say anything because he will just dig himself deeper in," he continues. "There's no doubt that Eric Holder and key people under him in the Justice Department knew about what was going on with Fast and Furious when they told Congress they had no knowledge."

Gottlieb believes Holder will be held accountable -- unless Holder's boss is re-elected.

Not even that will do it. When Sandy Berger can steal and destroy top secret documents and get his security clearance back, these people are above the law.

I am optomistic that we will see pigs and pink elephants fly—
But then I also agree with the old fat guy on the PBS News Hour who says that Government is both necessary and Good and does lots of good things for us.... That it was all the money those evil Republicans Millionaires poured into help Walker that hurt the Union efforts in that Yankee Cheesy State.

I hate to spoil Mr. Gottlieb’s optimism, but the chance’s of Holder being held open to prosecution after Obama is gone are-—— slim and none.

If Obama does not issue a blanket pardon for all of his crooked administration, there is still little chance of any of them being prosecuted.

If the Republicans do not have the intestinal fortitude to prosecute Holder and Obama now what makes him think that they will prosecute them later during the racial riots that will accompany Obama’s departure ?

This thing goes to the White House, and no President has ever been prosecuted for wrongdoing they committed while in office. Not Nixon, not Clinton, and certainly not Obama.

Holder will not be prosecuted until Obama is out of office. If he is prosecuted now, Obama will just pardon him. Better to wait until Obama has lost his pardoning power - then prosecute the both of them. It looks more and more like the order to implement F&F came directly from Joker Obama.

anyone watching the congressional hearings knows holder will never be held accountable. The charade of some members of the committee trying to get any answers from holder while others run interference is a waste of time.

I guess when he said he had “superior knowledge” he meant he he knew how and why he will never be prosecuted with the current administration in power.

He won’t be prosecuted at all. On the off chance he was prosecuted it will be a slap on the wrist like Sandy Berger.

That would require having an opposition political party, but all we have are Republicans.

If Romney is the next president he will be instructed to do what GW Bush did regarding Bill Clinton and his crony’s high crimes; “let’s just move on”.

" these people are above the law. "

They are only above the law because of the inaction of gutless GOP - by which I mean Country Club wannabe Boehner. The GOP needs its own insurrection like Clinton seems to be doing to Obozo!

3. I stated this in either 2009 or 2010, but it bears repeating. There is ZERO chance that Eric Holder will be forced from office. Eric Holder is utterly essential to the Obama regime and he is performing exactly how they want him to perform. Eric Holder is one of the most dangerous men in the world today. He is a psychopathic mass murderer, committed Marxist-Leninist ideologue and a foaming, drooling racist against Caucasians. To expect the Obama regime to get rid of Eric Holder would be like expecting Hitler to get rid of Rudolf Hess. It ain't happening. Like Hess, Holder's deep psychopathy and criminality is considered a FEATURE, not a bug.

He’ll never be prosecuted as long as the GOP is the “Can’t we all get along” party.

Holder being like Hess....
Well. Not to defend a nazi, but at least Hess saw where the ball was headed, and he bailed out. Died of natural causes, after living quite long in an exclusive zoo for one. Holder will make a pile of money, free as a bird.

Holder has less doubts than some nazis.
