Jackson said this is the first time he can remember a UGA professor being arrested on this kind of charge. What a peculiar sentence. Battling qualifiers render it nonsensical. Did he suddenly recover from amnesia and remember a UGA professor being arrested on this kind of charge? Did he have to sort through memories of all the faculty other than UGA professors being arrested on this kind of charge? Just how many kinds of charges are we talking about here, for which UGA faculty have been arrested?
That weird lawyerism of a blurb begs for further study.
