Obama’s data advantage [Drudge Headline: "Obama Watching You"]
politico ^ | 6/9/12 | Lois Romano

Posted on 06/09/2012 8:12:10 AM PDT by SoFloFreeper

On the sixth floor of a sleek office building here, more than 150 techies are quietly peeling back the layers of your life. They know what you read and where you shop, what kind of work you do and who you count as friends. They also know who your mother voted for in the last election.

The depth and breadth of the Obama campaign’s 2012 digital operation — from data mining to online organizing — reaches so far beyond anything politics has ever seen, experts maintain, that it could impact the outcome of a close presidential election. It makes the president’s much-heralded 2008 social media juggernaut — which raised half billion dollars and revolutionized politics — look like cavemen with stone tablets.

I didn’t see Ulsterman’s interview but I did see that Brennan is in charge of the assassination list. The same guy who oversaw the sanitization of Obama’s passport file being in charge of deciding who gets assassinated.... this just gets uglier and uglier.

It would be interesting to do a documentary of people trying to remove their dead next of kin of the voter roll. It could be a grassroots YouTube channel.

The data is not only to determine which strategies to use in his campaign.

You are his ENEMY.

The data will be used to TARGET you.

He has all of the federal agencies, regulators, tax auditors, and law enforcement to use against you.

It would not surprise me if he has a domestic Kill List.

And to add more specious numbers to the rolls, the treason Lobby pushes voting rights for non-citizens

Unfortunately the democrats are aided and abetted by republicans who at minimum ignore the problem of voting integrity. After all in addition to not cleaning up voter rolls, we need to show compassion, not require a PC incorrect ID to vote, and register / regularlize / or whatever the latest catch word is for giving amnesty to illegals.

...........I hope they are mining Facebook and Google...........

As I was surfing yesterday, many times when going between sites, a box in the upper quadrent would start running:

“Dashboard” while the computer was redirecting to my requested site.

Reading on Drudge that Dashboard is Zer0’s new data gathering operation, a little while ago I googled “Dashboard” and lo and behold up came Zer0’s hope and change logo, and sign-in instructions.

The bastard is data mining all of us!

Thanks. I’ll check it quick, before the comment disappears. Ulsterman isn’t supposed to be posted here.

This time, they are constantly experimenting and testing to expand the donor base.

For example, they have found $3 to be a magic number: Asking supporters for that paltry donation to win a chance to attend a fundraiser with the president and George Clooney or Sarah Jessica Parker, has generated tens of thousands of responses — people from whom the campaign can collect highly valuable data and then go back to.

That made me think of an article on A/B testing I saw in last month's Wired. I wondered if they hit on the $3 offer by using such techniques.

They guy featured in the article, Dan Siroker, is a Google employee who took a leave of absence to go work on Zero's 2008 campaign, where he further developed A/B testing techniques he had worked on at Google. After the campaign, Siroker teamed up with another ex-Googler to found a company that sells a tool to insert variations into websites and test the resulting responses.

Yes, and I say that all of this goes back to the character and social issues so many people want to ignore.

“Character Counts” is so true.

If little barry bastard commie’s list is alphabetical, you’re probably near the top of it. I salute your honesty with the scummy vermin. Sadly, he doesn’t give a damn that you have seen right through him. He believes himself to now be ustoppable. Watching the feckless pubby Congress, he might be right.

I still get lots of emails from his campaign. I'll probably always be on that list.

The bastard is data mining all of us!

I’m old. I hate Facebook. I opened an account to track a wayward son. It was so humiliating to have friends find me, and thus my son....and so awful to block people I love in order to maintain privacy. After figuring out all the stuff I could block, I changed my language to Chinese. I hope the Zer0’s have fun with that.

Of course the lists aren’t benign, but what would you recommend we do about it? Yes, Obama needs to be dragged out of office, but nobody in a position of power seems particularly inclined to do so.

The federal government has untold surveillance powers, and the only way it’s going to be curtailed is if the government so oversteps it’s bounds that we finally reach a tipping point.

If the tactics of the TSA couldn’t rile Americans enough for changes to be made, then It’s going to take something really monstrous to make it happen.

So, for now, we’re simply wacko conspiracy theorists. Most people just don’t seem to care enough about government overreach.

It’s all for our safety and security, don’t you know!

Able Danger is OK when it's your life Washington is "peeling back."

But if it's looking to track down Islamists (political Islam, sharia law advocates) then all hell breaks loose.

“...He is watching private citizens. He’s got a plan, and what it is we will be finding out soon.”

I don’t care what this kenyan pos “knows”.
But that’s ok. Let me help both him and little suave band of merry techies out, right here, right now: I will NOT be voting for dear leader nor any other Rat bassturd come November...period. You guys all got that? Right? Though so...good!
