Dianne Feinstein vents ire over 'avalanche of leaks'
In a televised interview Wednesday, Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein repeatedly vented her ire over leaks of classified information and she signaled that she favors a more aggressive crackdown on those who are passing national security secrets to the press.
"What we're seeing...is an Anschluss, an avalanche of leaks. And it's very, very disturbing. You know, it's dismayed our allies. It puts American lives in jeopardy. It puts our nation's security in jeopardy," Feinstein (D-Calif.) said on CNN's "Situation Room" program. She said the Senate Intelligence Committee plans to meet Thursday morning with Director of National Intelligence James Clapper to discuss the issue.

Truly an odd choice of words. Feinstein is a smart lady; she doesn’t say things without thinking first.
She’s also one of the few Democrats who seems genuinely interested in defending the USA.
I usually get eyerolls when I say this, but for years I have actually admired Di Fi when it comes to her expertise on National Security. She does genuinely seem to care about keeping America secure. In every other way I practically despise her.

Perhaps the quote or transcript is wrong and she used the word ‘schuss’ instead.

When the scandal about the conditions at Walter Reed Hospital broke a few years ago, The chairwoman of the Senate oversight sub committee resigned in an attempt to avoid disgrace. Mission Accomplished her resignation made the news on page 25 of the national MSM press..... It was Dianne Feinstein.
