He has flip-flopped so often on abortion that it’s very safe to say that he’s not worthy of trust on the issue. He is a go-along-to-get-along kind of guy who will sell the unborn down the river the first opportunity that arises.

It's amazing to me how many Freepers are rock-ribbed pro-lifers right up until the time comes to actually prove it in the voting booth.

Have you got a better idea? (imardmd1)

Yes. Voting one's conscience and conviction. (Resttozero>

I will, because I believe that every effort must be bent to remove the current usurper and his crew, and pull the fangs of his sycophants; for in spite of all else, the Republican candidate is (a) not Marxist, and (b) is subject to influence by conservative/TP cohorts. Displaced votes to a non-winner is helping to elect Obama. My conscience and conviction is that I must not encourage that.

Were there a conservative candidate running for President on the Republican ticket, I would be free to join you. As it appears now, I will not be able to do that.

I expect the Republican nominee will be elected, yet without the help of several FReepers. In my dictionary, FReeper is synonymous with “conservative” but not necessarily “Republican”.
