Tom Hoefling: "I will shut down every abortion facility in the country"

"All officers of government in this country, in every branch, at every level, have as the first obligation of their sacred oath the protection of all innocent lives within their jurisdiction.

Should I be elected to the office of President of the United States, I will keep my oath.

Justice Blackmun, in Roe vs. Wade, admitted that “of course” the child in the womb is protected by the Fourteenth Amendment, if they are a person.

Since it is self-evident that they are a person, my first act as President, after having sworn the oath, will be to publish a presidential finding to that effect.

My second act will be to ask for the resignation of anyone in the executive branch who will not act accordingly.

My third act will be to order the closing of every abortion facility in the country, as per the explicit, imperative requirement of the Supreme Law of the Land.

'No person shall be deprived of life without due process of law.'

'No State shall deprive any person of life without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.'”

These threads are perfect examples of why Conservatives continue to have less and less importance in politics. You either toe the line (from birth) 100% or you are an evil bastard who must be destroyed.

Forget compromise and forget winning. So you can be 100% ‘conservative’ and never win thereby never change anything, and condemn millions more babies to death.

Or you can find a way to work with other people and pray Jesus moves their heart in the right direction. I know which way the Founders chose and I know which way I will go.

I have no idea what Mitt will do, nor if we will be able to push him to the right (neither do you for that matter), so I have no illusions about him.

I do know what Bambi will do, I do know he can't be pushed to the right, and I do know he will continue to destroy our country as fast as he can with no regard for the law, or anyone else for that matter.

Between someone who wants to decapitate all we love and stand for, and a seriously flawed progressive RINO squish, there's no contest. Our country can't handle four more years of the former.

I remember being taught the evils of ‘back alley coat hanger abortions’ in public school. How great Roe vs Wade was for women. Church never spoke about it and my mom was working all the time. Guess I should be stoned too.

So you missed the following two decades of the Abortion wars also, you missed the Reagan revolution and were still voting pro-abortion in the 1990s?

Exactly.
It’s almost as if everyone thinks that 1992 was exactly like 2012. How many people had a computer? What did the MSM tell us about abortion? Rush had only been on four years. Conservative information was not easy to come by especially when you lived in a liberal city. I was in Cleveland!

The political news of today is the GROWING importance of conservatism, 2010 made history as one of the great conservative victories in our history, the recent elections in California and Wisconsin speak to conservatism's importance, your side got Romney in, but don't discount conservatives.

yeah I noticed that with Romney gaining the nomination and getting $1 billion dollars of superpac money.

Please tell me what impact conservatives have had on the Presidential election?

“The flying Imams” are anti-Mormon. Why would anti-Mormons attack critics of Romney?

How?

By fulfilling all of the Constitution's stated purposes:

"...to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Every single clause of which is grossly violated by abortion and euthanasia.

When you destroy the cornerstone and the foundations, which in the case of this free republic is the assertion of God-given rights and the obligation to equally protect them, you're bringing down the whole edifice.

What really pisses me off is so many of these so called “conservatives” throwing tantrums these days did nothing of substance to quell the tide of liberalism.

We have a President who thinks communism is good and supports killing babies after birth. Yet these people will throw their vote away.

IMO there were only two conservative candidates (Santorum and Cain) and neither of them won the nomination. Time to make lemonade.
