Also... there’s a cultural difference between a US bar and a British Pub. It said they lunched. Sometimes the best food you can get in the UK is at a “pub.”
Depends on the pub, some pubs are family orientated, but others are “rough as” places where you wouldn’t want to go with a grown adult woman (never mind kids) unless you wanted a fight...
