Obama Spox Carney Blows Up Campaign: "Economy has not recovered"

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney is being quoted by reporters as saying at today's briefing, "I think the economy has not recovered, and it's not where it needs to be."

Carney's statement has been reported by the Washington Examiner's Conn Carroll and BuzzFeed's Zeke Miller.

How long before Carney has to release a hostage tape of him saying the economy is recovering under Obama, but not as fast as he would like?

Biden is too laid back. He’s an old guy like me. He’s been in the job for a while. He could be the cause of the collapse of the nation and be outed as a complete idiot and basically say, “Gosh, did I do that? Sorry about that. Does anybody know where I can get a Mint Julip?”

Obama is a bit more highly strung and green. He really is an amateur and takes himself way too seriously. He is far less resilient.

This is why the bible actually warns that new believers should not be chosen as church leaders.

I don’t think he will have a choice if his breakdown is private. I think those “on his side” will demand it. Of course, this may lead to a public breakdown.

Early on I compared him to Hitler. But as I watched his governing style I realized that, although his followers are VERY much like Hitler’s followers, his “leadership” style is very much that of Mussolini.

In essence, Obama is faced with the same task that Jimmy Carter could not overcome; convincing voters that what he had done so far hasn't worked, but another four years of the same policies WOULD work.
