SOUTH OF ALAMO — A 17-year-old boy accidentally shot and killed himself with a semi-automatic handgun Monday night when the single round he fired at a butane tank ricocheted and hit him in the head, authorities said.

Angle is pretty close to straight back if he got hit in the head. I got hit in strongside thumb after a ricochet off a chunk of concrete. My first thought was “Man, I hit that square.” Did it penetrate his skull at an eye socket?

This has been done by a previous year’s winner. The question was, if you shoot a hole in a butane tank, how close do you have to stand while flicking a bic lighter to ignite the thing?

Answer: 7 feet.
