I agree. Unless Obama is tossed out at the Dem convention, Obama will have single-handedly destroyed the democrat party for the next few years. That's in addition to destroying the country.
People who think America will be better off by keeping him for 4 more years and then electing a “real” conservative are missing the point; there won't be an America left to save.
I continually think back to his speech last Spring when he encouraged Arabs to rise up against their governments. The Syrians did and this administration couldn't turn their backs on those people fast enough.

Exactly, he pretty much told everyone what he stood for before the election. Why all of a sudden they are surprised is beyond me. Anyone who was paying attention saw this coming and God help us if he is elected into a 2nd term (which I truly & seriously believe he will lose in the next election) - because he’s just getting warmed up.

I sure hope you’re right! A complete takeover is the ONLY thing that will result in a reasonable recovery time for economy (it took Reagan 2 years).
What I fear though, and somebody please reassure me, is that just like after Carter’s “malaise” economy (very painful) and the subsequent Reagan revolution, America fell promptly back to sleep & here we are again!
We are not showing signs of learning from History, and events keep repeating themselves.
Unless we learn to accept our Founders advice to keep “vigilance” over our Republic, even in the great economy to follow, our future generations will have to go through this all over again.
Eventually, we may finally lose our Republic like this.
We must find ways to teach the importance of vigilance to the next generations so we can finally stop this vicious cycle of Socialism/Capitalism/Socialism.
