At a fundraiser on Tuesday, President Obama said the debt and deficit her inherited is "baked in" structurally. "If they start trying to give you a bunch of facts and figures suggesting that it's true, what they're not telling you is they baked all this stuff into the cake," Obama advised his supporters.

"I love listening to these guys give us lectures about debt and deficits. I inherited a trillion-dollar deficit. We had a surplus, they turned it into a deficit, built it into a structural deficit that lasts for decades, and -- isn't that something?" President Obama said at a fundraiser today.
"This notion that somehow we caused the deficits is just wrong. It's just not true. Anybody who looks at the math will tell you it's not true. If they start trying to give you a bunch of facts and figures suggesting that it's true, what they're not telling you is they baked all this stuff into the cake with those tax cuts and a prescription drug plan that they didn't pay for and the wars," he said.
"So all of this stuff is baked in, with all the interest payments for it, it's like somebody goes to the restaurant, orders a big steak dinner, martini, all that stuff and then just as you're sitting down, they leave and accuse you of running up the tab. That's what they do," he said.

The first thing i thought was MaCarthur Park and Obama left his cake out in the rain.
Going with theis stupid analogy:
...it's like somebody goes to the restaurant, orders a big steak dinner, martini, all that stuff and then just as you're sitting down, they leave.
Then after they've left, you order lobster and drinks for everyone in the restaurant and the you try to blame the big bill on the guy who had the steak.
...so, since Obama was already feeling victimized by the bill, he decided to put a new Caddy Limo on the tab...
IMHO having watched quite a few Obama speeches, he always has been ridiculous. Despite the teleprompter, he makes a lot of stuff up as he goes along. This is a very lazy guy, and I mean intellectually lazy.
My theory is now that people aren’t just assuming he makes sense, the more he talks the more trouble he will get in.
And the O’Bastards left us with four years of checks for lobster meals.
This is a variation of the speech he gave before. In the previous version, the president mentioned ‘a steak dinner and a martini’.
Now we know it was not TOTUS’s fault. Obama’s speech writers intentionally used the same theme, must be ‘focus group tested’.

Here’s what I would say to him. “You’re the President, figure it out and handle it.....or step down and let someone who knows how to handle it, do it.”
Imagine this scenario, you leave someone to live in / watch your house for three years and when you come back the place is trashed, and the jerk is standing there whining about what a mess you left him and how lucky you are he didn’t burn the place to the ground or blow it up.
Anybody have a reaction of, “sure that’s fine, sorry for YOUR trouble?”

whenever I hear a lib tell me he inherited this, I remind them Obama bought the Presidency for about 1/2 a billion dollars

I have known lots of people who are defensive BS artists just like Obama. Fortunately none of them are president, unfortunately he is.
