PATH trains to and from the World Trade Center will be suspended Thursday from roughly 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. due to President Obamas visit to the National September 11 Memorial.
The president is scheduled for a late afternoon tour of WTC 1, the office tower that is the centerpiece of the redeveloped World Trade Center in lower Manhattan.

Good thing I got my visit to the memorial in on Monday.
Do you know what "outstaying one's welcome" means, Mr. President?
Can’t Baraq just issue an executive order, have everyone stay home tomorrow, and make the evil capitalists pay the drones anyway?
Another photo op at a national memorial?
Sounds like we’re producing an election commercial.
Await the radio & TV reporting the connection with visit to WTC and stop over at SJP’s. No other reason for this, unless Flag Day?
Down town commuters need to travel up to 33rd st Path station or Penn Station
They say it's very moving. I know the site is shaping up beautifully. And that tower...criticism or no, it really is looking awesome.
Going to the mooselimb mosque at Ground Zero??
oh, just shut down commerce for the afternoon, Obama wants a photo op.
New York is a lost cause for November, but it IS quite thoughtful of Zero to go out of his way to annoy a quarter million NJ commuters even more than they are normally annoyed! (Let’s guess that 90% of them might be taking the PATH home during the 3 hours he’s shut it down.) With a lot of luck, he could help to put New Jersey in play!
NJ is very much in play; the economy is in shambles, and a lot of gubmint workers have lost their jobs (with little hope of working again in their fields for years to come).
A lot of the financial industry’s job losses hurt northern NJ; Christie canceled the new tunnel plan because there are a lot less people commuting into NYC now.
What’s the Presidential business this time? Extortion or show biz?
I should have added to the title ( 3to 6pm Taxpayer funded visit to SJP’s)
I work in Lower Manhattan and there are a lot of NJ commuters who are pissed off about this... ESPECIALLY since he is not in town on “official” business, but here for a fundraiser at the horse’s house.
