IT’s something called “loyalty” and “respect” for those who helped you in the business.
She decided to pull a fast one on him and compete with him.
He never spoke to her, or responded to her calls ever again.. in his entire life.
Bottom line, don’t screw over a Scorpio or they’re never forget it.
I doubt very much that she was upset about a good joke. That was a great joke on her.
No she didn’t tell her about her contract.
I’ve read from many reliable sources that Johnny Carson was not the man you saw on ‘tonight’, but a mean, self-centered

The PBS doc on him last month gave a pretty clear picture of the man. On the whole a very wealthy but lonely man in his later years who refussed to stop smoking. I think he was probably on a respirator towards the end.
It’s a rough business. I miss him.

Joan rolled the dice and loss. All she had to do was show some respect to the man.
