News media ask court to air health care ruling

WASHINGTON (AP) News organizations are asking the Supreme Court to allow cameras in the courtroom for the first time for its eagerly awaited decision on President Barack Obama's health care overhaul.

Nearly 50 media outlets, including The Associated Press, and media advocacy groups signed a letter Dalglish sent Chief Justice John Roberts on Thursday.

BTW, I look for the ruling next Monday, June 18.
Let’s all not get our hopes up too high. They may rule in Ole Jug Ears favor. They may not. I pray it’s the later. Personally, I’m preparing for the worst. On the day the ruling is announced, prayers will be sent to The Big Guy for help in ridding us of this travesty.

That’s a good question. The Chief will call the case name and docket number then announce the justice who wrote the majority opinion.
That justice has a few options. He or she may read the entire opinion, read a prepared summary, or just speak of the case kind of off the cuff.
I would probably go for reading a summary if it were me.
Then sometimes (very rarely) the justice writing for the dissent will read his or her opinion aloud.
I would love to be there for this one, especially if J. Thomas or Scalia wrote the majority opinion. I am praying and trying my best not to chew my nails off.
This country is turned so upside down .... I expect them to rule in Obummer’s favor because it would just be SO wrong for that to happen. I pray God won’t turn his back to the country on this one.
