If you read between the lines of what Obama said, he was telling the illegals to go out and register as many dead people as they can and vote as many times as they can in November, so he can make this "temporary" edict permanent.

You nailed it. Mexicans and dead people are two of the very few voting blocs in which Obamugabe’s is not in free fall in the polls. He’s just pandering to what’s left of his base.

I can’t see how a union member could view this as a good thing. They already loath Mexicans taking union jobs as it is.

Not only are they likely to ban Munro, they (the libs that run the WH correspondents association) are talking about banning any correspondent for the Daily Caller. Obama ignores questions from conservatives anyway so there would not be much difference but it shows to any fair-minded person what a dictator he is and his lap-dog members of the press wag their collective tails in agreement.
