Give us a freaking break, its a mouse killer - I could armor a Honda Civic to withstand that fire.
This vehicle is completely unneeded and is a perfect example of the militarization of civilian police force
- but you knew that
FIRST: There is a PREVIEW button, FORCING you to at least have ONE MORE CHANCE to proofread your work before you can POST IT.
SECOND: Even if there was an EDIT button, people would still make the same mistakes.
THIRD: You would be opening PANDORA'S BOX. Everyone would be able to go back and 'edit' a post, so they could 'cover up' what they originally said.
No one would likely bother going back to fix a 'typo', especially if they didn't have the time to PREVIEW(or care to) it in the first place.
That would leave those who wish to hide the evidence of what they did say.
Most typos are easily SEEN as such and most read over them. (In fact, most of the time our 'brain' will 'see' the correct word, regardless to how it is typed)

As you say, it isn't the police who fear us. It is the politicians who fear us and want the police to provide protection. It is the politicians who want to control the crimes by being in on the take, and want to use the police to enforce payment.
It is the people who pit black against white, Christian against Muslim, Rich against poor, police against lawful citizens, and men against women to ensure they stay wealthy and in 'power' that allowed this problem to exist, and to grow.
