The first family walked over to a wedding in their hometown neighborhood tonight.
President Barack Obama, his wife Michelle and daughters Malia, 13, and Sasha, 11, are here for their first trip to the city as a foursome in two years.
While the White House never confirmed why the Obamas were visiting their hometown, it was widely expected they were here to attend the wedding of the daughter of their friend and adviser Valerie Jarrett at Jarrett's nearby home.

Attorney General Eric Holder, former U.N. ambassador Vernon Jordan and Chicago financier and Obama pal John Rogers arrived earlier Saturday at the wedding, which is at the home of Valerie Jarrett’s mother. Flowers have turned the yard at the home into a beautiful setting. A huge white tent has been set up in the back yard."

The text says her blouse is green. It looked black on the news vid and seems kind of olive-gray in the photo.
Black is common at weddings these days, even for the bride’s attendants. I don’t get the urge to wear black, myself ... there are many more flattering colors for everyone.

They spent the night in their own home. I hope they get used to it. I’d like to see them spend the next 4 years there.

Unfortunately, black is the MOST flattering color for me....but, I get so TIRED of it...but, I doubt I would wear it to a summer wedding!

I was tempted to hit “abuse,” but looked at the home page. There’s sum stuff to really be proud of, and can’t fault your humor.
Could be that for sure ... looking at her face above, they sure don’t look relaxed or like happy campers. He’s failing, he can’t quite understand it, but can’t ignore it.. it’s undeniable. He can only decide which dastardly, vengeful dictates he’ll serve up next to punish and show us who’s boss. May corpulent, pregnant bedbugs invade his nostrils .. only virtually of course.
