DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Maria Vasquez had just dropped off her nearly 2-year-old son with her father and headed to work. The 33-year-old did not make it far. The Dallas County Sheriffs office said, around 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning, 21-year-old Santiago Morin-Gonzalez drove a white Ford F-150 the wrong way down northbound Interstate-35E and crashed into oncoming traffic.
Vasquez was in a car, caught between two others in the wreckage.
Rescue crews were able to free her, but Vasquezs parents said that, by the time they reached Parkland Memorial Hospital, she had died.
Theyre taking it very hard. Its a loss, when you lose your own blood, your own daughter, said neighbor David Rivera.
Sheriffs deputies arrested Morin-Gonzalez and charged him with intoxicated manslaughter and intoxicated assault.

Sounds like the perfect *fix* to me, DB. Zero recidivism and a most effective first-time deterrent if widely-applied and publicized. IMO.
These stories make me sick.
There was another crash in Austin this weekend involving a stolen Ford F250 that killed a pedestrian on Loop 360 - no mention if Hispanic male perp was an illegal by the SRM yet.
Why don’t the families who have lost loved ones at the hands of illegal aliens all get together and go to Washington DC to protest before congress. Thousands of people with large posters of their victim family members would definately move the hearts of congress. The illegals have a multimillion dollar professional organization that knows how to pull the heartstrings of the politicians. Americans need to do something to dramatize the hurt and harm that illegal immigration has done to real flesh and blood Americans. How about thousands of people with large pictures of their loved ones with signs reading...*Would you give amnesty to my son’s killer?*, *Would you give amnesty to my daughter’s rapist?*
If anyone from the Dustin Inman Society reads this will you please pass it on to your group. I know you do a lot of protests. Could you please give me a quick answer?
