Professor Elizabeth Warren, the cigar-store Indian from Oklahoma, could learn a thing or two from namesake Jeffrey (no relation) Warren, a 17-year-old high school student from Riverside, Calif.
He is the young man who made the news recently when he won a $1,000 college scholarship for black students sponsored by Riverside's Martin Luther King Senior Citizens Club. Jeffrey Warren is white.
Since the scholarship application did not rule out non-black applicants, Jeffrey Warren applied, as he did for other scholarships and, after a telephone interview, he won the prize. 1) Define the word SHOW: A place at the edge of the ocean
CORRECT
Should’a’ asked him about his birfday.
Funny you mention "birfday" - Shaq did a commercial for Denny's years and years ago and he had a line about the "big breakfast" - he pronounced it "bref-fes" and no one blinked an eye.
My name is “An..fer..ney”! (excerpt from “High School High”)
But they gave him the scholarship anyway."
