Professor Patrick Pullicino has claimed that doctors are using a care pathway designed to help make people's final days more comfortable as an equivalent to euthanasia.
The Liverpool Care Pathway (LCP) is used in hospitals for patients who are terminally ill or are expected to die imminently. Under the pathway, doctors can withdraw treatment, food and water while patients are heavily sedated.
Almost a third of patients - 130,000 - who die in hospital or under NHS care a year are on the LCP.
Professor Pullicino said he believed the LCP was being used as an "assisted death pathway" with patients placed on the LCP without clear evidence, according to the the Daily Mail.

Predicting death in a time frame of three to four days, or even at any other specific time, is not possible scientifically. This determination in the LCP leads to a self-fulfilling prophecy.And what's unscientific about self-fulfilling prophecy? The elderly who vote for Obama are voting for their own death. Obamacare’s death panels are where a lot of real cost savings will be achieved.

This is why liberals want nationalized death care in America. The government is amoral atheist and can rationalize any degree of abuse and mass murder of the innocent for the greater materialistic good of the collective.
Government sponsored euthanasia only affects a very small, relatively isolated group of people. That’s how they get away with it. Most people are relatively healthy, so nationalized health care works well for them. All they need are routine checkups and common medications. Only a much smaller group of seriously ill people see the true impact of government health care.
When you’re living your last years in a nursing home, for example, you’re relatively isolated, even from your immediate family members. All your son our daughter will know is that you got sick and died. They won’t generally find out that the government’s doctor over dosed you with narcotics or withheld your food and water to kill you.
If government is picking up the tab, employing the doctors, and operating the hospitals, there’s little incentive to waste money on terminally sick people. On the other hand, a private system makes money the longer they keep you alive, that is if you’re privately insured or funded.
Bottom line: Don’t ever believe the propaganda that nationalized health care is good unless you really don’t care how you’re treated when your turn comes.
With this logic the shooter at VT was only “helping” those people to die, I mean after all they were going to die someday anyway.

It's a poorly thought out, criminal approach to hospice care, as it's called here.
These elderly helped bring these scum into the world and this is how they repay them by murdering them.
And they'll richly deserve it. Too bad it can't happen BEFORE they vote.
Of course we can’t know if a person is in their last 6 months of life. People routinely out-live the prognosis given them.
But the whole point is that the High Priests of Death Panels don’t need to KNOW whether or not you’re in your last 6 months of life. They have the power to DECLARE that you are in your last 6 months of life. (We just all have to learn to be grateful that They in their Infinite Wisdom, have declared 6 months. They could have sentenced us to an earlier death. But They are nothing if not beneficent.)
Sedate them a little more heavily and the withdrawal of food and water becomes a moot point.
