This also explains the recent moves by the AFL-CIO to stop contributing to Democrats in this election. It isn't punishment for the Democrats as much as self preservation. I think they know they don't represent a lot of their membership politically, and so they are throwing the Democrats overboard in order to keep their membership happy. This is actually good news for unions, if they would focus only on worker issues, they would have a lot more respect from me.

It looks like some good-natured kidding to me. People who use “tad” usually know how to spell. They just don’t always type what they know.

:) This is fun, like dragging a five dollar bill through a trailer park. It will snag them every time. I ask you to knock it off. Just can’t help it, huh?

Wisconsin ping: Unions see member exodus
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off this Wisconsin interest ping list.
To: Ann Archy
On the contrary, they’ve been awake. But didn’t have any choice in the matter as long as the state had to collect for the unions. I know some who are or were in unions and they hate it - total scam every which way.

Don’t you just love it when a good plan comes together?
I was traveling in NY state this week when a fellow found out I was Pro-Walker from WI and he told me he (MA resident) had sent $200 to a PAC that supported Gov. Walker. He THANKED ME and shook my hand and said - those unions must go. He was very proud to have contributed to Walker’s success here in WI.
This IS reality in WI. A ton of teachers never, ever wanted to pay compulsary union dues and don’t WANT to be part of a stupid union. Also, why oh why should our state spend one red cent on administration to collect these dues from the public unions paychecks. Gee, that Gov. Walker is full of good ideas. May this spread all across the country.

“it is called freedom from tyranny & theft.
And THAT is the reality.”
The Death of the RAT Party!
1. Take away their union (read Taxpayer) money.
2. Force them to tell the truth about their “vision for the country.”
To: Kaslin
As we now see, those fears have been realized on a grand scale; Wisconsin's public sector union rolls have been decimated in just over a year. A horrible misuse of the word, especially in this case. Much, much more than "decimated", which is to say cut by 1/10.
