Today, Turkey hosts an estimated 90 B61 gravity bombs at Incirlik Air Base. Fifty of these bombs are reportedly assigned for delivery by U.S. pilots, and forty are assigned for delivery by the Turkish Air Force. However, no permanent nuclear-capable U.S. fighter wing is based at Incirlik, and the Turkish Air Force is reportedly not certified for NATO nuclear missions, meaning nuclear-capable F-16s from other U.S. bases would need to be brought in if Turkey's bombs were ever needed.

We have always depended on a triad, land, air and sea based missiles.
The persistent fear is that some technological breakthrough will “render the seas transparent”.
OTOH, the Jupiters based on the Soviet Unions border pretty much forced them to put missiles in Cuber.

President Reagan decided to deploy 108 Pershing II MRBMs and 464 Gryphon cruise missiles to Europe in 1983. The deployment was completed by the end of 1986.
The Pershing II had a range of 955 nautical miles, accuracy of 50 meters CEP and carried a variable yield(5-80KT) W85 warhead.
The Gryphon had a range of 1,390 nautical miles, accuracy of 30 meters CEP and carried a variable yield(0.2-150KT) W84 warhead.
The Soviets felt threatened by the high accuracy of these missile systems which forced them to sign the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty in December 1987.
Actually I do think America is in Revelations and described in Bible prophecy, just many tend to dismiss what they read.

Most people interpret the woman as Israel in this chapter. Israel is given two wings of a “great eagle” so she can fly into the wilderness and be delivered from persecution....To me this sounds like America does an airlift to get the jews to safety.
But, if one looks for the reference of the eagle in the Bible and the prophecies there are good and bad for the eagle. In all though one observes the eagle is God’s instrument for strength, deliverance, and judgement.
The chapter the does give one great pause is Micah 1 in its entirety. For it speaks of Israel, harlots, and specifically ‘bald eagles,’ and the punishment to come.
Yup, sure did. But back then, we had a very vigilant American leadership ready for them.
Now... Not so much.
The Russians can wait until after the elections, like Barack said...
