Now theyre electrified.
One day after a dim-bulb worker caused chaos at JFK Airport by failing to notice a metal detector was unplugged, the TSA cracked down on its security screeners at the international aviation hub yesterday.
The supervisors are not happy, one screener told The Post.
Theyre coming by double- and triple-checking us.
The screener also said red-faced bosses were blaming everything on TSA agent Alija Abdul Majed, whose alleged bungling caused the stunning lapse in security.
Terminal 7 was evacuated and two planes were called back from the runway after the metal detector was found to have been unplugged. Hundreds of passengers had to be rechecked, causing hours of delays.
Meanwhile, at La Guardia Airport yesterday, an X-ray machine malfunctioned when the electrical socket it was plugged into burst into flames.
About 600 people had to be evacuated from Terminal C while the smoke cleared, officials said.

Alija Abdul Majed
?
“Alija Abdul Majed, whose alleged bungling....”
“Our employees”, this guy’s bosses, are stupid beyond belief.
Is this "THE" Alija Abdul Majed... the one known as Alija Abdul "ALLAH AKBAR" Majed?
“TSA agent Alija Abdul Majed”
I’m not gonna say it.... I’ll just get in trouble.
THANKS GWB, for creating this bureau of bumbling brownshirts, AND their fascist parent organization, der Department und Homeland Security, SIEG HEIL! (everybody click your boots)
5,4,3,2,1,....
Why do we have a pResident without any valid ID?
iSlime has got to GO!
Can’t make this shit up.
Unplugged, huh?
I smell a rat. Or, perhaps a ferret.
The only question is, was this a dry run, or did they just catch the “bungling” in time to foil Majed’s terrorist co-conspirators’ operation?
Keep moving along....nothing to see here....no need for profiling....Alija Abdul Majed....he’s as trustworthy as George Washington....move along.
What? Why would it just happen to be him that left the it unplugged?.....move along....nothing to hear here.
Further proof that the democrats and their little barry bastard commie mooselimb do not believe Islam is the enemy and American citizens ARE. And ya know what, I’m beginning to agree with one of those points and it ain’t a pass for Is Slime.
I hope they also searched every nook and cranny in the secure area where the contraband can be stashed for later retrieval. That could be under floor tiles, above ceiling's acoustic tiles, behind wall panels, inside of air ducts, in every commercial store, in every food place, and in many other locations.
If they haven't done that then they just wasted everyone's time and the terminal is still insecure.
Alija Abdul Majed? Pardon me for profiling, but I suspect that he may have been conducting a dry run.
“TSA agent Alija Abdul Majed”
A name that instills confidence that our government considers protection of its citizens first and foremost.

Sigh. A GENUINE terrorist right under their noses, successfully causes chaos, and the best they can do is huff & puff, and call him an inept bungler.
Yes; TERRORIST: chaos is as good as a lethal attack, thanks to the ripples. Oh, SHAME on me! Ascribing evil motives to the poor, mortified and humiliated Achmed Alija.
Hundreds of passengers had to be rechecked, causing hours of delays. causing missed flights/connections/events; increases frustration levels of all parites involved; provokes repressive reactions from higher-ups; costs the airlines money...and Majid gets reprimands, and the ability to pull another stunt.
What difference does it make if they are plugged in or not, as long as people think they are plugged in. The entire TSA is a 8.5 billion dollar a year attempt at creating the perception of security. A colossal waste of time and money.
union scum will prolly get a promotion...
Well, with a name like Alija Abdul Majed, I think we can safely assume:
1. The TSA agent involved is Amish, and
2. Said agent was witnessing his faith by avoiding the use of modern conveniences, in particular, electrical power.
All perfectly OK.
Is this TSA agent, Alija Abdul Majed, an American citizen?
