The local Fraternal Order of Police took the occasion to erect billboards around town reminding people that for a decade the city has been 1,000 police officers short of complying with the legal minimum for police protection.

There's an easy way to fix that you know. Raise the retirement age, end overtime, and cut pension benefits for police officers. Let's see what the FOP has to say about that.

Chicago needs another glacier in the way that California needs another earthquake (with no life loss or injuries of course).

There are areas of the country where disasters bring fleeting moments of financial relief as federal money comes flooding in and insurance companies create jobs as re-building is needed. And that's a shame.

Of course this is only true for the blue states and cities. You don't see the same effect when tornadoes and flooding devastate the Midwest. Private citizens and neighboring states have to donate personal time and treasure (and do so in glorious hoards) to support their neighbors, friends, family and fellow citizens.

But it is an “organized” decline, believe it or not. These shooters could easily take this violence to where the nice white libs live and pop a few caps into anyone who looks at them wrong, but they don’t. Those nice white libs are roughed up a little, and maybe one crazy slits the throat of a Wrigleyville dandy but for the most part the “Reverends” and the gang leaders keep the gun violence in their own hoods lest they risk a real crackdown.

The problem for Chicago is "the Chicago way". . .but it is more than just the Chicago Way. . .its the liberal way. . .its the secular way. . the way of denying absolute truths. . the way of denying that a moral and ethical nation is pleasing to God, as is a nation that exalts the flesh, an abomination to God.

We reap what we sow. . .if Americans sit by and allow this, not just perpetrate it, but allow it . . . then it becomes the American way. . and that false American way is doomed to perish.

I pray to God that my fellow Freepers, Tea Party, Righteous Republicans, people of faith, people of conscience can be the few, just as Abraham searched for but could not find in Sodom and Gomorrah, who will stand before God and uphold the true "American Way". . .the way that Tocqueville observed when he commented "these Americans combine the notion of religion and liberty so intimately in their minds that it impossible to make them conceive of one without the other" . . .

I'll go out on a limb here. Blacks. Their inability to rise up out of the social mire they have wallowed in for the last 100 years. They dress comically, they can't speak english, they commit an inordinate amount of crime, they father vast numbers of illegitimate children, they prefer welfare to work, they are school dropouts, the ones that do get ahead do so because of affirmative action over whites, their national anthem is crappy rap, they like to steal and wear $300 sneakers, they wear so much gold they look Mr. T, they do drugs, they deal drugs, they pimp, they do stick-ups, muggings, break-ins, murders, gang rapes, their black 'leaders' are mutants, morons, and race pimps...I guess that's sufficient for now. I'm too tired to go on.

True, very true. . .however. . .once the money runs dry and there is no more support for section 8 housing, food stamps, welfare, medicaid, etc. . .they will find a way to get to Wrigleyville to get their stuff from the rich who "aren't giving their fair share."
