Theres a reason Roberts was confirmed easily by the Senate Dems whereas they fought like hell against Alito. If the vote was going to be 5-4 to uphold anyway, doesn't matter what Roberts voted for.
If the three women, Breyer and Kennedy were already on board, then so what? Again, looks like Roberts hopped over the fence to be able to influence the wording of the decision.
In other words, as everyone feared, it really only came down to what side of the bed Kennedy woke up on. Right? Kennedy.

Then why did Kennedy write the DISSENT, claiming that the whole thing is unconstitutional?

Kennedy voted opposite of Roberts. He actually got this one right.

In other words, as everyone feared, it really only came down to what side of the bed Kennedy woke up on. Right? Kennedy. Kennedy was in favor of complete repeal, apparently. Roberts, and Roberts alone, bears the blame for this decision, because the reliably statist/liberal 4 were foregone conclusions anyway.

I wish that had been the case: Kennedy voted with Scalia, Thomas and Alito to declare the entire law unconstitutional. Roberts joined the four liberals to uphold the mandate as a tax.

Repeal or Revolt.
There are no other choices for me.

My take on this, and maybe I am being overly optimistic, is that this at best was Obama’s Pyrrhic Victory. As another post was headlined, the Court has awoken a sleeping giant.
Now, we need to work our butts off to vote out every RAT and RINO where possible as well as doing everything we can to defeat Obama.
Then we can repeal and replace.

From what I read Kennedy was against the ruling, and it was 5-4 for ObamaCare only because of Roberts.
