I don't think that's it. I take three pills daily for mine - millions of people do. That wouldn't even qualify as a double-take if he had it and tried to hide it, any more than if he suffered from herpes or chronic shingles. Might make for good jokes but nothing more, really. What I said back when HillaryCare was the Next Big Thing- Socialized medicine in the US will strangle medical research in the WORLD. The seemingly grotesque price differences for new drugs between the USA and Europe and Canada was what made most research possible. Almost all, perhaps all, medical research has long been done solely for the American market because the American population paying high patent prices is what paid for research. Now that the American market is self destructing there will be no profit in medical research anywhere in the world. Some folks say well, we are so much better off now than in 99.9% of human history what is wrong with just calling a halt now? Any more is just gravy. But there is a fly in that ointment. Research must be continual for antibiotics because mutations render antibiotics ineffectual after a time and they must be replaced by new ones. So in another generation World Medicine will be back to 1900. No effective antibiotics. You get sick, you die.

Any illegal who needs medical care can go to any state in this union to get free health care. All they have to do is get off the plane from Mexico or San Salvadore and head straight for any emergency room. They will be given free health care.

I have a friend who tells me his practice collects less than half of what they bill because of illegals. Illegals get dialysis, transplants, neurosurgery - you name it. It’s not only Massachusetts.
