If you don’t buy a product but get taxed for it then it’s taxing nothing.

This piece shares my most “optimistic” take on things but it’s kind of a “lipstick on a pig” moment.

you get real. by ruling it a tax, it is now back in Congress’ hands - hold feet to the fire because it was passed by claiming it was NOT a tax.

Obama is a liar and the SCOTUS just declared it officially. no Lib can call you out on calling him a liar - one just has to point to today’s ruling. I’ve already had libtards heads exploding by reminding them of that.

Knowing that Obama would have gone on the stump starting today attacking the Roberts extremist court was all it took for this odious weakling to buckle.
Roberts is my one of my brother Ron’s best friend’s brother-in-law. Ron met him at Pitt Law School. Let me tell you, if he were MY BIL, I’d never have anything to do with him again. He’s participating in the destruction of MY country, and that is unforgivable. Bob

Hopefully, this will be remembered as the Roberts’ tax and that Roberts will need critical health care someday from a crippled and third world system that he was pivotal in creating.

Are you suggesting that our “betters” in Washington DC are going to have to eat their own dog food?

I hope so, but more likely there will be a private and privileged system for the ruling elite and the rest of us will have to bring our own water and bedsheets to the local clinic for what passes for health care.

No, Roberts is part of the new sovereign in America, the state HE will get the best of health care; it’s the rest of us who will suffer thanks to creeps like Roberts and Obama. Bob

A voice of reason.

A voice of cowardice.

And Obamacare is still in effect and has not and will not be overridden. The job of SCOTUS is to rule on constitutionally NOT to rewrite that which is handed to them. This was NEVER a tax but rather a penalty. The mandate CANNOT be sustained under ANY theory so Roberts made one up. The man is a traitor and you are a fool

Nope. To help defeat the democrat party we must elect republicans. Speaking ill of republicans does not help.

Duty before whining.

I will ignore the personal attack as a heat of the moment slip - but I disagree.

The Administration argued before the Court that it was a tax, thus the ruling was based on the the president’s argument.

They rewrote nothing - obama told the court it was a tax - Roberts made up nothing.

The ruling clearly declares the President and Dems in Congress to be liars. Why you can’t grasp that is beyond me.

The law is what is written not what some dufus attorney claims. And by the by the administration argued it both ways on different days. So take all of the wonderful it is good for us and go buy health insurance with it ——other wise pay your tax. This is a travesty. Roberts is a traitor and you still don’t know what you are talking about

Question: If it is not a tax then what is it?

Answer: Involuntary Servitude, a violation of the 13th Amendment.

That should be the point of attack on Obamacare.

You folks know why Socialism is always on the advance?

Because on big issues like this they always stick together while our side continually wrings it’s hand over nuances in our principles leading to a fracturing of solidarity.

you will never see a liberal court vote against their agenda for the sake of appearances or to rise above the fray.

The only thing that can kill the advance of socialism, because all politicians seem to get infected with it, is a bankruptcy that most of us would prefer not to experience.

He could have done even better by joining Scalia, Thomas, Alito, and Kennedy in striking the abomination down altogether. But he didn't. Instead, he chose to throw his lot in with the Court's liberal hacks. He chose poorly.

That is what is so unsettling
